Hi all, There's been someone who has joined the forum on what I believe is more than one occasion, filling out their profile with plausible info and posting enough to activate the PM facility but then acting suspiciously with other members. The latest example claimed to be from Bedford RC in their profile but then told other members different stories when trying to sell them things. We noticed that in one day, this individual had come on to the site via 20 different IP addresses, and not even from a reputable VPN provider but by what looked to be compromised devices of unsuspecting individuals. All we can really say is that if someone is offering something that appears too good to be true, it probably is and suggest that you exercise caution. Continuing on my retirement trail, I have a very special rifle for sale! It is built as a 300 mt rifle, BUT, being in .223 rem it is also eligible for NRA Target Rifle TR events as well!!! The action is a specially built Sportco M44, shortened action, with centre action screw, and front recoil lug action screw. The action is mat black ceracote. It is in .223 Rem calibre, with a new TSE bolt head, special bolt handle, and a new TSE adapter to take a new Bartlein 1 in 8 twist barrel, 640 mm (25") with .223 Wylde chambering. The trigger is a Bix'n Andy 20 gm two stage , (for 300 mt and any thing with a free trigger), plus it also comes with a Sportco TR eligible 1500 gm trigger (a straight, simple ten minute fit). The rear sight is a new Gehmann 590 compact, with Centra iris, and Centra lens hood, mounted on a Centra metric rail, and it also comes with a PH 5C TR 4 click per minute TR sight, complete with mounting bracket, a simple switch, so, a 300 mt free trigger and metric sights, ten minutes and a TR sight and trigger! The front sight is the superb Crystal Centra Cube, with Crystal High End element, and a 0.5 Crystal Eagle eye for TR! (that's £200 of front sight!) Forget the 30 mm TR front sights, you have never looked through a sight like this for clarity of picture! The action is on a special machined alloy bedding block bolted into the stock. The stock is a Keppeler full bore K5 with my own modified alloy fore end inserts to make it as slim as the new K9 stock. Finished in Metalic black with polished alloy detail. The grip is a Walther KK300, the cheek piece is a flat top Walnut wood, fully adjustable in every direction, with my own side folding cheek piece so it can be high, and fold to open the bolt, simples! The butt plate is a Keppeler, adjustable for length, height and angles, with a removable (for TR) butt hook. All complete with a colour matched Mirage band (choice of colours!). The barrel was very carefully run in, and has shot a logged 200 rounds in total, including one 60 shot 300 mt match (just over my average). It shoots superbly with NRA available GGG 69 gn match ammo, and even better including spectacularly in wind, with my special 80 gn hand loads. The sale will include a box of each! Why then am I selling it? It was my lock down project, plus If you look on the General threads for my "bucket list project" that I have just finished, that's why, plus retirement looms, I don't need two the same calibre, and I need the cabinet space!!! It's very special, suitable and competitive, for 300 mt, TR, bench rest, or what ever you wish to do! The pic is not very good, I lost patience with the resizing site!! Just for your information, I found the company that made the cable for the twiddly thing, it’s a specialized drive cable that will drive in both directions, the problem is they only deal with trade sales, won’t give out samples and have a minimum order amount, I forget what this is but it’s in the hundreds of pounds. Not to say that we could order and split it up around the country ! Regarding springs, yes I believe Freeland have fitted a spring that would cope with the largest scope likely to be fitted to the stand, therefore once you remove the standard screw and replace the with a drive cable you will need to balance the spring to the scope, if you remove the standard spring measure OD and wire size, the go on eBay and match up a lighter option, this worked for me with a little trial and error, you will need to cut the new spring down possibly with a grinder. Not if the paperwork is done correctly and the goods are of EU preferential origin - and stated as such on the invoice. But Parcelforce get this wrong frequently and have been stealing money for UK Gov for the last few years. But they will be subject to UK VAT at the standard rate.

Anschutz match 54 round action with aluminium SE shape .22E competition stock. the stick has a fully adjustable cheeky piece, ergonomic size large grip and butt plate. The barrel and action are in fantastic condition with no marks or scratches and still shooting incredibly accurately! I’ve tested this at 50m bench rest on many occasions and it will easily group well less than 1/2 MOA. The sales does not include the sights and adjustable butt pad, but if anyone is interested we can discuss a discount on those additional items. I’m based in Nuneaton and I’m looking for £750. Are you a sucker for Swiss-made stuff? Do you want to be able to open your bolt without breaking a sweat unlike your neighbouring firer struggling with their 50 year old Swing? Then look no further! If you are interested in this for TR and don't want it for 300m, please let me know, we can discuss options. Wooden stock, or existing metal stock? New or used TR barrel? Sights? I've got all the bits to turn it into a TR such as a steel Trakker rearsight, 22mm RPA foresight, irises for front and rear, Gemini standard rifle buttplate, heavy springs for the trigger. The yellow adapter is a little retro Grunig, but it can easily be re-anodised in a different colour and the stock powder-coated - there are local shops around Bisley that do this. As an aside... Rajmond Debevec in 2003 having just won the 300m 3P Men's in Plzen.

Anschutz 9015 ONE stock for sale. This enables you to upgrade any Anschutz 9015 air rifle to the top-level 9015 ONE spec. Supplied with a right-handed grip. The stock is in great condition. There are some cosmetic signs of wear on the cheek piece and palm shelf, plus the competition equipment control stickers and sticky weights shown in the photo: I'm happy to remove these if you'd prefer. £750 for collection from North London. Yes I have one and occasionally use. Whilst giving a good estimate it all depends upon the “quality” of the shot hole and the shooter placing the gauge correctly over the shot hole. Regards Joe

Here's a few views. Workmate was bought new at B&Q for £30, the only mod I did was to put a self tapping screw into each of the plastic feet to stop them coming off. Top is 36" x 18" ¾ ply with a covering of some cork sheet I had lying around with a couple of coats of spray varnish to seal it. Self adhesive carpet tiles or a glued down yoga mat would also work. For transporting I usually just fold the whole thing and it goes flat in my boot, releasing the top just takes seconds and then you've got a workmate for all those odd-jobs that seem to be needed at the range Hope this is of use. As long as it's all the same size they are largely universal. M18 is usually the standard size.

I think all Anschutz rear dovetails are 11mm, it's just the front that are different on the pre 19xx series 1 - 1.5mm @ 50m is as good as sights get, the only other option is the Spy BR which does about 0.5mm/click I believe. Another option might be a long Starik tube and increase the sight radius if that doesn't break any rules

In theory, yes, the hole space matches up, but in reality, no, because R3s are shorter "at the front" than 2013s and 1913s with square adapters. Hi @RobinC it is far from intuitive, but if you click on your username at the top right, select attachments, then click on the thread link on the right hand side column, it takes you to your post. If you then click the three dots in the top right of the post, giving you More Options, one of which is Edit, select that and it takes you in to the post, and at the bottom of the post is Uploaded Images, and the little X in the top right of each picture allows you to delete the actual image, rather than the link to it which is in the post above it. As I say, far from intuitive, but hope that helps as we need to see the pics of the Bucket List Project! Cheers John
