Jcampbellsmith got a reaction from Buz1440 in REED CZ457 11mm Standard Rail 0MOA Picatinny Rail
I have recently upgraded my CZ457 MTR rail to a 30 MOA inclined rail, so this REED CZ457 11mm Standard Rail 0MOA Picatinny Rail is surplus to requirements. I've owned the rail just over a year and it's been very lightly used.
    £60 ono posted.
    Thanks

Anschutz match 54 round action with aluminium SE shape .22E competition stock.
the stick has a fully adjustable cheeky piece, ergonomic size large grip and butt plate.
The barrel and action are in fantastic condition with no marks or scratches and still shooting incredibly accurately! I’ve tested this at 50m bench rest on many occasions and it will easily group well less than 1/2 MOA.

The sales does not include the sights and adjustable butt pad, but if anyone is interested we can discuss a discount on those additional items.
I’m based in Nuneaton and I’m looking for £750. The stock alone is selling at Intershoot for £999 and it’s still in perfect condition.
cash on collection or bank transfer. This must be done in person or transferred via RFD only.

    ========================================
    Now sold.
    ==========================================

Lefthanded .22 Feinwerkbau 2700 Super Match Ali target rifle for sale.  One owner bought from new on 15th May 2015.  The barrel length is 67 cm.
    £1,450 Ono.
Everything about this rifle is adjustable, you should not need any further (expensive) upgrades as they have already been added.
The trigger can be adjusted to suite your style, it is a superb trigger.
Sights: The original rear sight (“housing”) that the rifle came with had been upgraded for finer adjustment, but the original will come with the rifle. It has a variable aperture rear sight with polarising and colour filters for different light conditions.  The aperture on the front sight can also be adjusted.  There is no need to (buy) carry a lot of separate aperture size discs, that are easily lost or damaged, with this setup.  The rear sight has a glass monocle holder fitted (it holds a prescription lens).
The original handgrip under the barrel had been taken off (but will come with the rifle), and upgraded/replaced with a Centra handstop.  Each of the legs of the bipod can be folded to the front or back separately.
The only damage on the rifle are small cracks in an adjustment plate along the bolt holes, on the butt piece. (See butt piece photo, it is marked with e red circle.)  A bracket was added over it and had been used like that for years without any problems.
The rifle comes in an 'Anglo Arms' canvas bag.  The bag is lined with a soft white material and has one zipped pocket on the outside.
The bolt comes in a leather holder.
If you price this quality rifle with all these (expensive) additions, and see the rifle for yourself, you will see this is a good deal.
The owner of the rifle is giving up smallbore target shooting due to health issues (old age), he is getting rid of all his kit.  There is the cleaning kit, ammunition box, a lefthanded jacket + (expensive) sling, lefthanded glove and spotting scope, all in very good condition and can be included as part of a deal.
The owner of the rifle did only indoors club competition shooting, once a week rarely twice, and have not shot since 2020 due to Covid and health issues, apart from once after Covid when he fired 15 shots and realised this is not for him anymore.  By our estimates, this rifle has shot less than 7,500 rounds.
The rifle can be viewed at the St Andrews Rifle Club by prior arrangement.
Shipping can be arranged should it be required, but the buyer must pay all shipping related costs.
(Please note:  I am not the seller, I took the photos and placed this add for an elderly friend who is not internet savvy.   I will be the message-passer-on-er, but the handover will be done in person by the owner of the rifle.  The rifle is on his FAC. As a side note, having seen this rifle myself, I will be surprised if the first person to see it does not buy it.  This is a stunner, nearly everything looks brand new and the owner seems to have added everything one would ever need.  I have more photos if interested.)

Thanks so much, JCS, the problem seemed to be that it would not show the X on the pics in the edit, not sure what I did to get it , but I did something and it appeared! So have now cleared the field.
Have now restored the first pic and added another taster pic!
    Thanks again
    Have Fun

Hi @RobinC it is far from intuitive, but if you click on your username at the top right, select attachments, then click on the thread link on the right hand side column, it takes you to your post. If you then click the three dots in the top right of the post, giving you More Options, one of which is Edit, select that and it takes you in to the post, and at the bottom of the post is Uploaded Images, and the little X in the top right of each picture allows you to delete the actual image, rather than the link to it which is in the post above it.
As I say, far from intuitive, but hope that helps as we need to see the pics of the Bucket List Project!
    Cheers

Jcampbellsmith reacted to Schmee in Brass Cases - .308 Winchester, from 10p / case, collect from Bisley or can post
I have available a mix of .308 Winchester brass cases from GGG, RWS, PPU and RG from a variety of years and fired in a variety of rifles, but none have had more than 2x firings. Whilst these should be almost all OK to reload, it will be necessary for a reloader to check the condition and trim/size these cases to their specification. Note that the RG cases are a Berdan type, and some (not all) of the GGG may still have a crimped primer pocket that requires reaming.

On that basis, I have up to 2000 rounds to offer for 10p/round (£10 per 100rds), which I'd be happy to sell at Bisley or via post (at buyer's expense). I am available most weekends and evenings as I live fairly close.
Please DM if you are interested. Likewise if you have any special requests (e.g. no Berdan primers, or only want brass from one brand) I'd be happy to try to accommodate.

    Honesty and commitment above all.
Twice in the last month I have been in situations that are not illegal, but in my opinion, it demonstrates the lack of character of some people.
Twice I showed my interest in buying a certain equipment for a rifle. I never discussed the price, if I didn't consider it fair I simply wouldn't buy it! The first time and while I was waiting for the cost of shipping to make the payment, I received a message saying that, as there were a lot of interested parties, I would increase the price. My question was "But this is an auction??!" You set a value, I accepted it and now you say the price will increase?!" Obviously I didn't go into the auction and didn't buy anything.
The second time when I saw the item marked as “sold”, on the one hand I was happy to finally buy something that I was missing, but on the other hand I was a little apprehensive because I still hadn't paid. While I wait for the postage amount to proceed with payment, new message saying "Sorry but I already sold it yesterday"!
After all, while waiting for the shipping cost, the same item was being sold to someone else! What a lack of education... to say the least!
My question is just one: Does it cost a lot for people to honor their commitments? When, after exchanging messages, the seller tells someone that "I'll just find out the cost of postage to tell you" are we assuming that that seller is going to sell to you or am I mistaken?
Apparently I am, but it doesn't cross my mind not to fulfill an agreement just because someone offers you an extra 10 or 20 euros!

That's what I use, but without the rubber super grip.  I reckon it's the best prone butt-plate that I've ever had.
