demonloop Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 Anybody anything laying around, dust-coated? Preferably with the adjustable cheekpiece (simple or Supermatch type) Buttplate if possible, but will entertain without. Condition not overly important as I think its going to be refinished. Squishy Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 (edited) I know of an old round action stock, adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length butt. Like the older 1413, kinda like a standard rifle, but suitable for free. See a fair few redone for 300m rifles. PM me. tim s Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 Like the older 1413, kinda like a standard rifle, but suitable for free. How can it be like a Free Rifle and a Standard rifle? Standard rifle rules prohibited thumbhole stocks, anatomically formed grips, butthooks, and adjustable (but not removable) cheekpieces. Do you mean a Prone rifle? If it has an adjustable cheekpiece (not one that can be packed with wedges), and a non-thumbhole grip it's a prone rifle.
Squishy Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 Its a thumbhole stock, with a sloped forend. You see where I was going with that?
tim s Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 Ah, the xx10 and xx09. These were cheaper versions of the Supermatch.

Squishy Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 I'm far too young for standard rifle anyway
tim s Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 Too young? It's still in the ISSF rule book for 300m. Sam, you're also not a woman, so the Standard rifle was optional.
Squishy Posted 17 April 2013 Share Posted 17 April 2013 I was aware of both these facts. If someone could throw a rope and a torch into this hole i have dug myself into it would be greatly appreciated
