neil Posted 28 May 2004 Share Posted 28 May 2004 I was approached by a small business owner asking whether anyone would be interested in some of his products. As you know I do not advocate blatant selling on the forum, however I wondered if this product would be of use for the likes of Bisley. It is a 'waterproof' clipboard ... www.wetwritesolutions.com

Guest ilovemybed Posted 28 May 2004 Share Posted 28 May 2004 I'm not taking the mick, but This Guy (just did a search on Google, he's nothing to do with me...) appears to sell exactly the same things at less than half the price. I think there's been a bloke selling them at Bisley - I've seen fullbore folk use them to great success for their scorecards/plots.

HPS have been selling weather writers for a couple of years now. They ususally have a stand at Bisley for both the fullbore and smallbore meetings. Mac Posted 28 May 2004 Share Posted 28 May 2004 It's at Fort William. Rain isn't the issue - you need full NBC kit to keep the midges out
RobertBeard Posted 28 May 2004 Share Posted 28 May 2004 I'll go down to Buckfast Abbey and borrow a beekeeper's outfit! Can I take any orders for Buckfast Tonic Wine while I'm at it - I gather its rather popular up there! Robert
Guest ilovemybed Posted 30 May 2004 Share Posted 30 May 2004 Yes, I suppose it is, but we don't call it Buckfast. Down myway it's called a bottle of "Who the f*** are you looking at?"
