This is terribly unfair. Absolutely what I want, but am moving house and am therefore going to be eternally poor. Can you sell it in c. 5 years' time for the same money please?!!!

Many thanks Aaron- received it yesterday. Brilliant!

Best hurry up Tim - sterling's getting weaker by the day - thanks to the Scots!

Thanks Ryan. I have now sorted this - thanks to Aaron. Price is good. Shame about Surrey Guns. If anyone follows this thread, perhaps they can take it as read that this is not a company you want to deal with over the internet or phone.

Um - no. I had been posted one which went missing in the post. Spoke with Peter about this - he agreed to send another one; he can claim insurance as the original has not been posted/has been lost (w/e 23rd July).
However - since then, in spite of regular contact both email and phone I have got nowhere. The situation is laughable but also very frustrating. I can't be doing with it. He is clearly avoiding contact with me - and I reckon I'm pretty easy going. I just don't get it. He has had my money since June; I have no trigger; he couldn't care less (his behaviour says as much); I remain out of pocket and frustrated I can't progress. He needs to realise people won't put up with being treated like this - they just won't do business with him, and he can ill afford this PR. Like you say, Henry, one to avoid (perhaps, unless you buy something off him face to face - let's hope it never goes wrong!!!).
Anyway - that's why I'm now begging!

Ark Fitz. Nice try. That is 100% of the problem. They have my money (since June) and I have no trigger. Peter Friend is not responding to repeated contact attempts. My experience can only be to warn people of dealing with Surrey Guns. Not a good outcome. I am not in a rush to complain usually but this takes the biscuit.

Hi all,
I am still after one of these triggers (Anschutz 5071). Has anyone recently upgraded and is wanting to get rid of the old one?
I have the following trigger (Anschutz 1407):

It has limited adjustment.
I am after one of these (Anschutz 5071):

Can anyone help? I know they come with safety catch, which I either don't want or would remove; I know I also need to file down the lugs to get it to fit, but I know they fit my rifle (an old Match 54).
I'd be very grateful. I'm looking c. £85ish ONO.
Please let me know.
Kind regards,
Chris

They're expensive, but some of the best shooters use them. Maybe save up and get a new one?

Here's the relevant parts of my conversations with Barry:
The Sight radius for a No 4 is approx 45"Thank you for the commendation on the Tube, as you have found out the sights do vary with the length of tube, the sight that you bought should have a No 4 stamped on the front edge if you are using it with a 12" tube. The dovetail on the Tube is for an 18 series Anschutz so a sight suitable for an 18 series should fit.I do make 22mm turn over foresights with or without a bubble. -
Hi Tony - I'm sorry - I can't answer that - I'll contact Barry and see if he knows.
Thanks,
Chris

NOW SOLD!
Hi guys,
I have this Barry Nesom turnover foresight for sale. Very nice piece. It also comes with an adapter to insert an 18mm iris, but is otherwise 22mm. It takes the Centra High Ends if that's your thing!
It's in superb nick having had very little use; I'd like £75 for it - that includes postage. It fits on 1813 Anschutz, and also on the Nesom tube; I think it would fit older Anschutz also - possibly not the more recent styles.
Basically, it has a release collar which, once loose, allows the tunnel to rotate - it is marked with "100" - obviously 100 yards; and when turned 180° you're on for 50M.
It's fitted with a bubble, which again comes on an adjustable collar, which can be revolved to match cant. A great piece of kit.
As I say - £75 delivered. Feel free to send me a private message.
Kind regards all.
Chris

Ha! Yes - I know it's not supernatural powers. I used to be a pure shooting geek when at school - but then I did a bit of fullbore at uni, and then it stopped for about 10 years. I was therefore out of the loop for a long time, and am wanting to get myself into "more significant squads", and just plinking at the club ain't gonna deliver that, so I need to enlist 2 things - knowledge (in the form of Stirton), and knowledge (in the form of The Regional Development Squad). I think there may be some small element of talent lying dormant in there somewhere, so with a bit of luck, all the pieces of the jigsaw will make for a good outcome. And Stirton (or more accurately the input of members) continues to prove invaluable in the progress I have made and continue to make, and so I thank Stirton, and the likes of you, Tim, and Sam for their input.
Kind regards,
Chris

I bow to the wide ranging knowledge! How do you guys know to go to the septics to get the answer?!! I'll have a look see what we need at our club, and possibly get a few organised.
Thanks guys - as ever, Stirton comes up trumps.

Hi guys,
The part number is 1407-15. Does anyone know where I can get one? Preferably new!
Thanks,
Chris

Is this still for sale?

Hi guys,
A recent offer got me interested in this - sadly, no longer available.
Does anyone have one knocking around that they'd be prepared to part with? It doesn't need a blade on it - I'll be getting one separately.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi guys,
I need a SCATT Trainer. I'm looking for a very reasonable price where possible; I only want/need a basic model for training at home.
Any help gratefully received. I guess it needs to be able to plug into a laptop.
Thanks,
Chris
