Anschutz 1807 Stock

Hi All

Looking for a stock to suit a 1807 for my uni club, so nothing too fancy needed.

Also as we are a uni club, budget is fairly limited.

Ed, is it a right handed action? May also be helpful to give a rough budget.

Yes RH action, cost would probably be ideally less than 100 if thats possible

Have you checked out eBay? Stocks come up on there. Might be a bit quiete at present, but may be more for sale after Christmas.

If you're looking on eBay. Any Match 54 stock will accept an 1807 receiver, but older (1960s and '70s vintage) stocks were made to fit a smaller trigger. If you aren't handy at woodwork, be sure of what you're buying.

Also think twice before buying a stock without bedding bolts. All Match 54 rifles have the same thread, but not the same length.

Hi Ed, Where abouts are you?

I have a stock from what I think was a 1407 era rifle (with the bolt safety) so as Tims says may need some trimming to fit.  I have the bolts and trigger guard to fit.  Its been stripped at some point and I recently oiled it.

If you are still looking for a stock I have a Match 54 stock complete with adjustable buttplate carrier, trigger guard and bedding screws.
