Are you running any s/ware firewalls, pop-up blockers, AV etc?

Neil, did some more testing, it all works fine from home , so I guess the office firewall has something in it.

Many thanks for all your efforts

Clive enjoy Firefox 2.0 and its spelling checker :)

I would hazard a guess at potentially scripting being blocked since it seems to be related to pop up type actions?

Anyway, glad you are enjoying the forum and finding it useful :)

Neil,

Do any of the options have any facility for a spelling checker...

Clive

Take a look at the later version of the firefox browser, it has a spelling checker built in to it. Works for most things including this board www.firefox.com

Julian,

I discovered IeSpell some time ago, and as Neil has said there is now an integrated link in the forum post editor. It all seems to work well, once you have given permission for the active-x control to run.

Sorry if you noticed a slight 'glitch' in service tonight but I've just upgrade from 2.2.0 to 2.30. Again, mainly on the admin side are where the improvements lie but from your point of view the searching should be a little quicker now since I've reindexed the board.

When Neil introduced the voluntary donations last year I put a reminder in my diary to make this an annual extravagance!

I can't now find the PayPal button any more to make another donation now a year has gone by. - Has it been removed?

Thanks Robert, it was removed when the 2.2.0 version came out. I need to find a few mins to look into it again. There is now a subscription module but as far as I can see that dictates how much the subs should be hence I haven't done anything with that

Thanks guys, I've listened to what you have said ;)

You can now find the Donate button on the home/index page near the top right.

Many thanks for all your support.

I have just had my annual reminder to make a donation towards the upkeep of the forum and I can't find the paypal button again!

Neil can you get it back for us please?

H Neil

Just to say that as a new member I am enjoying the site which is very usable.

One small point as someone looking for equipment on the Loot section. Might it be possible to have provision at the top of a posting to indicate that an item has been sold rather than have to open it and work through the thread to find out whether it is still available?

Regards

Ian
