It has an adjustable “Precise” cheek piece with engraved scale and fine adjustment, which can be adjusted in situ without tools. The long fore-end stock with integrated benchrest wedge CONTACT features the wide two-point-rest and the soft link recoil reduction. The stock is suitable for the Anschutz Match 54 family of round actions (i.e. mods 1407-1913) and is complete with action bedding bands, trigger guard and stock screws. It does not come with a butt plate, but does have the adjustable mounting screws. It has some minor marks from use, but nothing excessive. £500 ONO ** SOLD ** Prefer f2f, but will post at buyer's cost. Best Paul Hi Paul, I believe this to be a dedicated benchrest stock - its model/name being a good indicator. The aluminium platform is removable and is secured to the stock via csk head screws into tee-nuts in a standard rail. However, the fore-end stock under the platform is equally flat. There's nothing to say you couldn't use it for prone shooting if you were so inclined, so all I can say is, you pays your money and you takes your choice. Thanks for your enquiry.
