phil o Posted 28 December 2019 Share Posted 28 December 2019 Hi all, Happy Xmas and a good new year. I'm looking for a grunig and elmiger short butt plate ratchet, I have a long rachet now but could do with a short ratchet. Willing to exchange long for short if someone wants to, or just purchase. Thank you for your time Phil

Mac Posted 31 December 2019 Share Posted 31 December 2019 Hi Phil, we will have some kicking about somewhere - the older versions if that will work. I think I have one, if not then Seonaid surely will.
phil o Posted 31 December 2019 Author Share Posted 31 December 2019 Hi Mac, Thanks, I'm not sure the difference between old and new, if you could find one, could you take a pic please. Thanks, keep me posted Happy new year Phil
Mac Posted 31 December 2019 Share Posted 31 December 2019 The new ones are open at the end, and made of steel. The older ones I have are closed at the and and probably alloy of some kind. Will have a hunt and get back to you. Cheers Mac
Mac Posted 6 January 2020 Share Posted 6 January 2020 Hi Phil This is one of Seonaid's old ones - it has the closed end, as opposed to the open end that you see on the latest versions: http://www.edinkillie.co.uk/ecatalog/grunig-elmiger-butt-plate-ratchet-open-p-1414.html?cPath=11_13_75 Cheers Mac
