HWN1011 Posted 17 June 2014 Share Posted 17 June 2014 We have a junior at our club that needs a scope. Anyone have any experience of these will they work at 50m and 100y?? H
Rutland Shooter Posted 17 June 2014 Share Posted 17 June 2014 They are fine for 25 yards, you can get by with them at 50m but really need something a bit better for 100y. Rutty
peterpig Posted 17 June 2014 Share Posted 17 June 2014 Anyone know if they focus to 10 meters, I am aware we cannot use them but when working with blind shooters a scope and spotter help.

Coiln Posted 17 June 2014 Share Posted 17 June 2014 We have one at our club and to be honest it's hopeless, wont stay focused at 25yrds no matter what and not much good at 50m to dark, we might have a duff one as others seem to sing their praises

Triple G Posted 18 June 2014 Share Posted 18 June 2014 A number of members at my club have bought these. Reasonable at 25m. Pretty bad at 50m. Unusable at 100m. As you increase the magnification ithe picture darkens considerably, even on a bright day.
slug33ukuk Posted 19 June 2014 Share Posted 19 June 2014 As the rest of the guys say....just about get by at 25 yrd......after that, forget it
jonty Posted 19 June 2014 Share Posted 19 June 2014 As the saying goes in the building trade, buy cheap, buy twice. Having said that, I bought some SDS masonary drill bits from Lidle in 2003 and they still in use!. But I would give the scopes a miss personally. Guest TomK Posted 19 June 2014 Share Posted 19 June 2014 Used this or similar and it is total garbage for shooting IMO!
Guest mrfixit Posted 19 June 2014 Share Posted 19 June 2014 I have a Meopta IPhone holder that allows me to fasten the iPhone to the scope.Works a treat at 10m.
TomPross Posted 19 June 2014 Share Posted 19 June 2014 I've been using one for years and is excellent at 25yds is good at 50m and i have used at a 100yds and found it ok although it took a while to get it at the right magnification at 100yds but still usable
gregsy Posted 20 June 2014 Share Posted 20 June 2014 Have to agree, from my experience; 25 good, 50 just about, 100 not a chance
