Guest Zulu34 Posted 16 March 2011 Share Posted 16 March 2011 (edited) I am looking for a secondhand Anschutz target rifle with a light weight barrel, preferably 1807/1907/1903 series with a hand stop, and sight set for my son who is getting serious about target shooting. He is only 12 and hasnt the muscles for anything heavier yet. I am based in Bucks, so happy to travel 2hrs, 100 miles or roughly 3 counties. I havent got a big bag of cash so grateful and happy to consider whatever you have. Thanks Spuddy Edited 16 March 2011 by Zulu34

Guest Zulu34 Posted 18 March 2011 Share Posted 18 March 2011 Thanks for that Rob, I had a look and still waiting for some serious replies to my queries. It looks like its going to be a 'case of right time right place'. Unfortunately my small bag of cash is burning a hole in my pocket as a small voice is asking, 'whats wrong with that one??????..................its in america.........................and??????" I have a few months until the next competition, so I am happy to wait for the right action at the right price. Just remembered; Thanks to the tips and queries by PM, I am very grateful for your support. If my numbers come up on tonights euro lottery I will remember you all. Cheers. lincs-alan Posted 19 March 2011 Share Posted 19 March 2011 I did notice that the NSRA has a Walther on the SH rack, similar design to the 1907 with the deep wooden stock etc. I think it was up at £250 but don't quote me HTH Alan

Guest Zulu34 Posted 22 March 2011 Share Posted 22 March 2011 (edited) Thanks for that link, one of the better county association websites I have seen. Good to see Arthur Harvey is still around, I bought my first rifle off him; I think Margaret Thatcher was in power then. I hope the 1803 price is a typo, so hitting the phone in the morning. Thanks again, good lead and another site to watch, dead chuffed. Spuddy Edited 22 March 2011 by Zulu34
