FAC is in progress, looking at getting myself a riffle.

Got a rough idea of what I want but it is only vague so if anyone has a rifle going i will definately consider it.

Hello and welcome to the Forum :D

Would you be looking for Aluminium Stock or Wooden? Also a rough idea of your budget also helps.

I am after a .22 Bolt Action Rifle

If all or most of the below criteria are met I would be willing to consider prices up to £700

Preferably:

  • Wooden Stock (to better suit my price range) but wont say no to Alu if price is the same.
  • Anschutz or FWB
  • Butthook (As Below is choice, FWB etc equivalents considered)
  • Sights Included
  • Heavy Barrel *EDIT* Anschutz 1913/Eqiv not Heavier. *

Tip: Don't go for too heavy a barrel, as it's easy to add external weight, not so easy to remove it from the barrel

Thanks for the advice neil. Our club has a shiny new 1913, ill make sure i can cope with that first!

Good for you - so what did you get in the end?

Anschutz 2013, wooden stock (recently relaquered black)

Short (500mm) barrel with extension for foresight.

Standard sights & the oldish style buttplate

its about 15 years old but apparently its had only about 15000 rounds down it.

£600, collected in the suburbs of London

That was taken just after I had bought it. Since then ive dismantled and cleaned the buttplate, and adjusted it.

The weights are no longer on it and I will be putting those for sale any minute.
