thesquiff Posted 21 December 2008 Share Posted 21 December 2008 A bit of my FWB butt plate attachment bit just fell apart. Its the funny shaped nut thing that the allen screw that goes through the legs screws into (apologies for the techincal description). Anyone have one of these, or the whole assembly? Failing that, who's best to approach about a replacement? Will try and upload some better photos later when I'm not emailing them from my phone. PaulN Posted 22 December 2008 Share Posted 22 December 2008 PM Yardman9 - John Churchley. Mind you he will probably pick up this thread and contact you anyway. John is the importer for FWB and was very helpful to me when I needed information about my 2700. Paul.

thesquiff Posted 30 July 2009 Author Share Posted 30 July 2009 Just to follow up on this, Fultons of Bisley were able to get me an exact replacement nut for a tenner.
RobertBeard Posted 30 July 2009 Share Posted 30 July 2009 Blimey a nut for £10. I can remember having to pay well under a £1 for a stud that went through the side casing of the gearbox on my Morris Marina Coupe - No sarkey comments please! (Triumph Herald gearbox from the BL parts bin evidently) that was supposed to hold the reverse idler gear in place. It sheared off and the bits and idler gear trashed the gear box. I remember thinking that for twice the price or even more they could have made an indestructible stud in the first place.
thesquiff Posted 30 July 2009 Author Share Posted 30 July 2009 You have a point - but its by far the cheapest replacement part I could ever need for a rifle so I'll count myself lucky!
