neil Posted 23 November 2007 Share Posted 23 November 2007 Hey guys, Right, I need a favour ... Can any of you put your hands on or know where to get: 1 x Small left handed pistol grip for a Steyr LP2 Compact 1 x XSmall OR Small right handed pistol for a Steyr LP2 Compact. I have my 3 sisters into pistol shooting and they need a decent pistol. I believe I have sourced the pistol but just need the grips. Any help much appreciated as they would make a nice Christmas present

RobertBeard Posted 23 November 2007 Share Posted 23 November 2007 I can give you Harry Preston's contact details if you want as he is the UK Steyr official importer. I did buy Margaret a left handed small pistol grip for my Steyr LP10 but she is not interested in shooting so its redundant but a) I don't know if it fits the LP2 Compact and Its at home somewhere but I haven't seen it for yonks and that's after looking for it a couple of times already. I'll have a look again over the weekend if I get chance.
RobertBeard Posted 23 November 2007 Share Posted 23 November 2007 Steyr LP2 Compact website looks like the grips are interchangeable with any Steyr air pistol They don't appear to do an extra small
neil Posted 23 November 2007 Author Share Posted 23 November 2007 Hi Robert, Sounds like we could do a deal You get small in l/hand and xs in r/hand or you can go for the Rink grip. I know Harry thanks and will also give him a shout for the other grip
RobStubbs Posted 23 November 2007 Share Posted 23 November 2007 You might want to consider an ambidextrous grip. They make them now for the steyrs (again ask Harry) and would suit your sisters initially until you buy them each their own gun and new grips Rob. neil Posted 23 November 2007 Author Share Posted 23 November 2007 That'll be right Rob I didn't say I was buying the pistol, just that I'd sourced one and I'd look to get the grips part of the present

I have actually managed to source a small left-handed grip within my club which is very handy But desperately after a small/XS right-handed in time for Xmas - ANYONE? RobertBeard Posted 17 December 2007 Share Posted 17 December 2007 Glad to see you've found a left handed grip. Margaret & I searched high & low over the weekend and drew a blank - We're at a complete loss to know what we've done with it!
