sunbeam Posted 18 June 2007 Share Posted 18 June 2007 (edited) Not a bad old 7.62. Proper wooden stock that replaced the original which had a magazine hole of course. Full anschutz rail for hand stop/single point sling fitted by Fultons. Parker Hale 2 click minute rear sights have iris adjustment and a few filters. Passed safety inspection at Bisley year before last. Holds bull pretty well, but 1000 yds is now asking a bit too much of it. Mind you, a brand new state of the art rifle probably wouldn't get me better scores at that range! I have managed to get a newer 7.62, but the main problem with the Enfield (for me) was a rather long stock for my rather short arms. Ill let it go for silly money plus the costs of the transfer ( via registered firearms dealers of course).
