Guest Jili Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 I'll bid £60 for it!
RobStubbs Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 Chris, I'm gonna raise it to a more sensible level - a round 100 pounds - especially since the funds are going towards your CWG preparations. If my club doesn't want it then I'll have it and dispose / donate my old 300. Cheers, Rob. P.S. I assume it's guaranteed to shoot like the test card in my hands ? RobStubbs Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 someone always has to spoil it Never mind, at least it'll be in the safe hands of a pistol shooter You can always raise the bar up As I said my club might want it or I'll have it - either way it'll give Chris some more beer tokens for Melbourne next year Rob. Guest Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 Bid Recieved by PM puts the winning Bid at £101 now. Which pays for 20% of the ammo I bought today
RobStubbs Posted 11 November 2005 Share Posted 11 November 2005 Chris, £125 I'll up it to then - should be 25% of your ammo costs. Don't think I can stretch to paying for it all though Rob.
Bill Posted 12 November 2005 Share Posted 12 November 2005 Ken - good point auction ends in 7 days time Just to get even more ebayish about this, exactly what time on Thursday 17th would that be? (Wish you hadn't started this yet, Chris?)
Guest Posted 12 November 2005 Share Posted 12 November 2005 how about "it closes at mid-day, or one hour after the last bid, whichever is the later ..." ?? then its actually an auction .. unlike ebay, which is a fixed-time sale (can you tell I work for a auction house ??/
Guest Posted 14 November 2005 Share Posted 14 November 2005 Two new bids by PM. Highest winning bid is now £131.
Guest Posted 14 November 2005 Share Posted 14 November 2005 how about "it closes at mid-day, or one hour after the last bid, whichever is the later ..." ?? then its actually an auction .. unlike ebay, which is a fixed-time sale I think thats a great idea. The auction closes miday on the 17th. If anyone bids in the last hour, i.e. between 11 - 12 I'll extend the close for another 24 hours. That should give everyone a chance to bid again if they want. Highest winning bid is still £131 received via Personel Message

Guest Posted 15 November 2005 Share Posted 15 November 2005 Highest winning bid is now £150. As this isn't ebay and to save confusion I had better explain, two people have bid £150 by PM, the winning bid is the person who bid first.
