Redeye Posted 30 September Share Posted 30 September (edited) The barrel and action were personally selected by the late Peter Bartrop at the Anshutz Factory. The barrel had been allocated to a German junior International, who had failed to collect. After a short period, Pete decided to go back to his BSA and sold this to a friend of mine, who I bought it from in the late 90's. If it had done 10000 rounds at this point I'd be surprised. I used it to compete nationally throughout the naughties and early twenty teens. I probably put a further 10000-15000 through the barrel, so just warming up! Over this time, I batch tested at Eley with the late Bert Brookes. On the second test session, due to the barrel's consistency across as many batches as he could find, Bert stated that this barrel was amongst the top 10 barrels he had ever seen! So with that, added to an early Gemini System stock (no 11) which was serviced by Rob himself (as he was my coach for a while) and an upgraded butt hook, bespoke tube and centra duo sights, this rifle is a special piece of equipment. Comes with Napier full length case and various cleaning ancillaries, so ready to go. My shooting days have come to an end unfortunately, so time to move everything to a new home. Collection from Cheltenham/Gloucester area. £1750 Plenty more photos can be provided Edited 30 September by Redeye Spelling Buz1440
