Yorky Posted 24 June 2024 Posted 24 June 2024 I’m looking to potentially source an alloy stock for a Barnard P action, I’m particularly interested in the flexibed style of stock that was initially made for the millennium but later made to fit the barnard. but also in gemini styles of stock, or happy to be pointed towards other things i’ve maybe not heard of, if you’ve got something you think might be of interest please do let me know!
RobinC Posted 26 June 2024 Posted 26 June 2024 (edited) Yorky, I do have a very special" Dolphin stock, inlet for a Barnard P. It was the original slimmer pattern Dolphin TR stock that I modified, to mirror more my KK500 small bore, I shortened the fore end, (the originals are quite long) and also lightened and shortened the rear butt end, and altered so I could bolt in an adjustable Walther butt plate. I also removed the Dolphin trigger guard, and I used a Walther KK500 trigger guard, modded to fit. The cheek piece mount and height adjuster is Dolphin. The stock is finished in high polished alloy with the rear and some trim orange. I used it with a KK500 grip. I used it to develop the Barnard P for 300 mts in .223 Remington with a Bix 'n Andy Trigger which is more rear ward on the Barnard. Once we discovered the performance for 300 mts with the Barnard P in .223 Rem, I built one .223 rem Barnard P for my wife in her Keppeler stock, and one for me in a KK 500 stock so this stock is redundant. It is stock only, complete with Dolphin rear stock length adjustment, and butt plate mount, Dolphin cheek piece mount, and height adjuster, KK500 trigger guard, NO pistol grip, cheek piece, or butt plate. Although I have no use for it, I'm not sure I want to sell it, but If you are interested email me on robin.carter80@ntlworld.com and I'll send you pictures from when i had the Barnard in it. If its then of interest Maybe we can discuss. Have Fun Robin Edited 26 June 2024 by RobinC
