DeLaRue53 Posted 18 February 2024 Posted 18 February 2024 (edited) ****NOW SOLD**** I am selling my Volquartsen Ruger 10/22 target rifle with known history, light use & it has not been abused, only ever used at indoor ranges....afaik it's never had a bunny in it's sights but woe betide any that do! It is in really nice condition, hardly a mark on it & fitted with a matching silver moderator. Although the action housing/frame & magazines are Ruger, the rest of the action, bolt, trigger & all moving parts are Volquartsen. I fitted a new Volquarsen Extended Bolt Handle and Recoil Rod Assembly & a Tuffer recoil buffer which improved the cycling & it now has a much smoother action. (It wasn't that bad before tbf!) Extended Bolt Handle and Recoil Rod Assembly for 10/22, Silver | Volquartsen Firearms volquartsen.com It has a fabulous Reinhart Fajen Thumbhole Silhouette stock in Nutmeg, an 18" Stainless Steel Fluted Volquartsen Target / Match Grade barrel, extended magazine release lever & Includes 5 Ruger 10/22 10 round magazines two of which are brand new. This is a very accurate rifle & looks amazing imo, I have more pictures so if interested please pm me with a WhatsApp number or email & I will send them over, thank you. Can be viewed at my local RFD, please pm me for details. I can send to your RFD at cost (I'll pay my end) or meet at Bisley....please note the scope & mounts are NOT included in the price, thank you. £695 ovno.......advertised elsewhere. As Willyroe is a new member they need to reach a certain number of posts to have full forum access. I'm inferring that Neil wants these posts to make a useful contribution to discussions on the forum, and not be random. neil 1
Colin Posted 6 March 2024 Posted 6 March 2024 Or possibly the deleted "ttt" type posts, whereas some more info would be easier on the Mr admin's eye and have the same end result 👍 neil 1
DeLaRue53 Posted 6 March 2024 Author Posted 6 March 2024 OK....so either way are "ttt" posts to bump ads up not allowed as I see see them all over this and other forums? Happy to stick to the rules if that's the case provided everyone else does....
willyroe Posted 6 March 2024 Posted 6 March 2024 I’m lost. I do have a 10/22 rig myself and was trying to contribute to a “forum”. Colin 1

There were 3 posts with content of nothing more than "ttt" in what looked like nothing more than trying to bump a post to the top of the listings RobinC 1
DeLaRue53 Posted 8 March 2024 Author Posted 8 March 2024 So...back to my original question. "Are "ttt" posts to bump ads up not allowed as I see see them all over this and other forums? I've just selected a random 5 ads that have been posted for some time & all of them have been "bumped" one way or another. I really am happy to stick to the rules provided everyone else does.....but that doesn't appear to be the case. BTW.....Thanks "willyroe" your comment was appreciated! 👍

DeLaRue53 Posted 9 March 2024 Author Posted 9 March 2024 Unless of course it's a "niche" item, as my RFD described my rifle, in which case it may well be priced reasonably but in a reduced market.....but my original question remains un-answered.....🤷♂️
Racingt Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 My ‘niche’ item sold on here within 24 hours. It’s either hot, or not.
chasing600 Posted 9 March 2024 Posted 9 March 2024 And sometimes patience is needed too. I sold a stock on here a while back which was advertised for a few months - it all depends on whether the right person is looking at the right time or not.
