It's a short bar that slides in the handstop rail. There's a screw hole to lock it in place. Think of the sliding part of most Anschutz handstops or a System Gemini.

The stock is the older sinter-cast 2313. A 2018 Precise is the newer type machined from solid.

    Hi all,

There's been someone who has joined the forum on what I believe is more than one occasion, filling out their profile with plausible info and posting enough to activate the PM facility but then acting suspiciously with other members.
The latest example claimed to be from Bedford RC in their profile but then told other members different stories when trying to sell them things.

We noticed that in one day, this individual had come on to the site via 20 different IP addresses, and not even from a reputable VPN provider but by what looked to be compromised devices of unsuspecting individuals.

All we can really say is that if someone is offering something that appears too good to be true, it probably is and suggest that you exercise caution. If in doubt, reach out and we'll look at some patterns behind the scenes.

All the best, and thanks for using the forum responsibly
    Neil

    Ramos,
You need to ask a price. It's a forum rule for sales, along with stating the methods of payment you accept.

Assuming you have a 10-click sight like the original 6702*, what's your budget? Pretty much every sight nowadays come with finer clicks. The Spy has already been mentioned; this is very popular, but not cheap, even second hand. A basic option would be a Gehmann 590; these are twenty click (about 1.5mm at 50m). The downside is a bulkier body than a Spy (or even a 6702) due to the internal mechanism.
Fitting an extension tube is legal for NSRA and ISSF matches. There's been no limit on barrel length for .22 since the old 50m Standard Rifle class was dropped more than 25 years ago.

    I have a spare 6805, but I think it's the 10-click version. Will have a look.

*I think the 6802 was first seen with the 2013 around 1990, so a couple of years into 1913 production.

    Emily,
If it's any help, the stock is a 1912, effectively a Lady Supermatch. This type is 15-25yo.
    Good luck with the sale.

    Chris,
Is one of the mini-Chrises taking up smallbore?
    Have you seen this ad?
Ignore the title as it's an 1807 6cm barrel, not the usual 69cm. An 1811 stock is more prone orientated, but could be used standing, especially if the butt is shortened (something useful for a junior anyway). Would just need a block for standing.

Yes, Barry's foresights have standard metric threads: M18 or M22. I've used hi-ends and irises. My M22 tunnel is threaded at the front for M18 accessories (filters/antiglare tubes).
As Mark was selling a 1974 Match 54 this may be the old style Anschutz base, ie the dovetail won't fit your 1913 - too deep, too narrow. You could make it work with two piece raiser blocks, but that could get expensive and add raisers.

    Manx,
At the least you need to specify whether you have a 690mm or 660mm barrel; that's measured from the muzzle to chamber, not the receiver. 690mm barrels are about 2mm thicker than 660mm ones. Factory tubes are usually made with a bit of tolerance, but the Nesom is bored to fit a specific barrel; a random clamping collar might be a fraction too big/small on your barrel. Ideally measure your muzzle with calipers/a micrometer.
If you have a 1613/1611/1610, aka an X barrel, these are fractionally wider than 14xx (older) or 1813 (newer) 690mm barrels.
Tubes for a 1913 won't fit; 1913 barrels are thicker at the muzzle.
    Good luck with your search.

Yes,  the facility to make the plate fit large and small shoulders is useful. That said, we should remember that Anschutz brought out the 4760 in 1984. What other factory is still making their 1984 buttplate? I think it's a testament to the design, possibly aided by sheer proliferation, that Anschutz and Grunig made versions today.

    Robin,
There was a factory-made KK200-Match 54 adaptor. From memory there was a KK200-KKM adaptor too.
I had a memory that I'd seen one of the adaptors, and I found a review of the KK200 stock by Chris Fordham in his Brookwood series (Target Sports June 1998). This shows the adaptor on a Match 54 action, and in the stock without an action installed. It runs from the rear Anschutz bedding bolt to just ahead of the forward KK200 bedding bolt.

Hi all thank you for your interest
over the past week I have had numerous requests for various scope stands and have been sourcing the materials so I can hopefully produce the the required items in modular format as and when required in shortest turnaround
so far only the paramount m6 might be a potential problem firstly in tracking down one in use and secondly the drilling of the core
production for Freeland and tucker should hopefully start this week after some testing with new materials
apologies for the delay I would rather get it right first time rather than dissatisfaction

It can't be a Mk 3 (or a Mk 4 or 5). These all had the handstop rail cut into the aluminium hanger/cantilever beam (Mk 3) or spar (Mk 4/5) that provided the fore-end. The wood was cosmetic, rather than structural. The Mk 1 and 2 had a plate screwed into the wood. Suspect someone stripped the threads in another rifle at some point and scavenged parts.

If you're looking on eBay. Any Match 54 stock will accept an 1807 receiver, but older (1960s and '70s vintage) stocks were made to fit a smaller trigger. If you aren't handy at woodwork, be sure of what you're buying.
Also think twice before buying a stock without bedding bolts. All Match 54 rifles have the same thread, but not the same length.

This is predominantly a smallbore forum, kit can be legal for one discipline but not the other. As I wrote, might be worth mentioning if the cuff is 40mm+, as it's not NSRA legal.
