NSRA just had a huge 50% of everything sale - i'm amazed that they have stock left! That said, due to the popularity, they had to close down the website after a few days.....

Haven't ever seen (or heard of) a 20 yds gauge (let alone an eagle eye version) - would something like this work?

There have been one or 2 of the "plastic palace" owners who have "sub-let" for a short period. I'm not sure if that is permissible under their lease conditions though? Similarly, I don't think that they can be occupied "all year" - there were some mutterings about this maybe changing. You might also want to join the other main Facebook group - "Bisley Caravans" as there are quite a few of there with 'vans. Some people occasionally go abroad for a year or so with work & are happy to sub-let.

Thought that was most likely - I have one somewhere - but invariably forget to pack it in my range bag, so just use a normal magnifying glass on my Swiss Army knife! Been about 99% accurate so far. 😉 Another Canadian source.

Do you mean a "Magnifying Plug Gauge" - or, a cylindrical clear perspex tube magnifying gauge?

Well, a couple of pictures might help - & knowing the Anschutz model number would be a good pointer too. Metal or wooden stock, etc, etc.

Did you get anywhere? There is a TR guy (Simon Shouler) who sells a lightweight stand - quite a few TR shooters have bought one - not cheap though! They used to offer a same day "buy new" facility, but that might need the previous evening as a night stop in order to get there first thing in the morning (they open at 0800 hrs), & it's about a one hr drive from ZRH airport.
