Check the sear on the firing pin... i had the a burr develop on my anschutz back in 2003 which made lifting the bolt harder and harder until during the Roberts final my scorer had to come and put his foot on my butt and yank the Bl00dy thing up. The burr occurred on the (back mid side). Get you r firing pin out and give it a good groap to see if there are any sharp bits (hough don't do anything with the very bottom part that contacts with the sear... pm me if you want me to explain further via a telephone call

i'm pretty sure there is no minimum from the nsra... I usually go grab 1k or 500 at a time. I see you are in the north east, It might be worth having a chat with Harry Preston (based in York) he is an edelmann supplier (and they are a lot cheaper than the NSRA)

i think it needs to be mentioned that this will not effect using the sight as normal - only difference will be when the change over from 50-100 is done on a standard sight base a few clicks is likely to need to be added!

i beleive it is to do with the amount of offset - i'm sure its understandable that a standard sight base needs a different amount of offset than a standard plus 12" tube

look on the part that slides in and out /rotates when you change - one end will have a '4' stamped on it

looking at the rear of the butt (attachment knobs are on the opposite side) and the bolt (black showing up and handle to the right) I'd say it was a rightie! but Gregsy should confirm that

yes - rear sights are generally a standard fit - in the smallbore target rifle shooting case you won't go far wrong - its just the foresights that are the problem!
