Davids P38 will work but you'll have less time to shape it before it gos off and it can be messy to use.
Davids is easy to use, gives a better fit and is much easier to shape afterwards! (plus its better value for money) . Although it sets up much faster (5 minutes as opposed to 3-5 hours) it means you can make alterations and try them in one session, rather than having to return later to check the fit when hard

Nope, there is no trigger access hole, and no relief for the bolt-mounted safety. It's a 1610, or an early 1810, made before the cooling vents were cut into the fore-end.It's defo a 1410

If its a factory barrel there should be two letters stamped on it.. 1996 should have jg
A=0
B=1
C=2
D=3
E=4
F=5
And so on
