  1. Not if the paperwork is done correctly and the goods are of EU preferential origin - and stated as such on the invoice. But Parcelforce get this wrong frequently and have been stealing money for UK Gov for the last few years. But they will be subject to UK VAT at the standard rate.
  2. 🤣 Is that like ‘Not The Nine O’Clock News’? Should I rebrand as above 🤣
  3. I know where there is a shiny new one for sale
  4. Go have a look at some videos of finals at the World Championships or World Cups. Almost all the top shooters shooting with the rifle on the palm of the hand, with blocks varying to almost non-existent (Seonaid for example) to quite deep, depending on body proportions and position. Most have a relatively simple block. One that is height adjustable makes a lot of sense given variation in target heights at different ranges - easier to deal with at the front than adjusting the butt plate.
  5. These haven’t been made for decades, and are a very outdated solution for shooting standing…. Even in the 1980s most people were breaking them up and using either the block or the metal part and selling the other part to someone else. I still have my block somewhere, but I loaned the metal part out to someone a long time ago and I’ve never been able to track down where it went…
  6. That sounds very odd. I have used SCATTs in my work for years and never heard that before.
  7. New stock hasn’t arrived yet, I think it has either only just been printed or maybe still is in the works. No news of when we can get it yet, but once we get new stock it will appear on the website and we will put out some info via the usual social media channels.
  8. There is a new version of it just about to be published.
  9. LRC not the only place that does Rink... We've had them since 2004...
  10. Because we sold out of right-handed ones, sorry!

Not an essential service as you well know, but mail order was permitted - I was shipping orders every single week during lockdown - and transfer of a firearm to a customer who was another RFD was fine. We have only started with face to face firearms and ammunition transactions two days ago.

There's no problem for RFDs shipping firearms, provide they are open. It's been going on throughout lockdown!
  13. Hi Phil This is one of Seonaid's old ones - it has the closed end, as opposed to the open end that you see on the latest versions: http://www.edinkillie.co.uk/ecatalog/grunig-elmiger-butt-plate-ratchet-open-p-1414.html?cPath=11_13_75 Cheers Mac
  14. The new ones are open at the end, and made of steel. The older ones I have are closed at the and and probably alloy of some kind. Will have a hunt and get back to you. Cheers Mac
