  1. Christmas time, mistletoe and wine (la la). If you are taking some time off this Christmas you could do worse than while away the hours over a good book! Here's my recommendation for anyone who would love to set up a home range complete with robust DIY target changers/whizzers or wants to create a multi-lane range for their community club to improve the productivity of range time! Merry Christmas!

Target Range Construction 10m Air: A Practical Guide eBook : love, A G: Amazon.co.uk: Books

  2. Nice LG 300 in blue alutec stock for sale
    All original including match sights
Right Handed (left-hand medium grip available by separate negotiation)
    MEC butplate
Steel cylinder TUV expired but still very useable
Complete with Walther single hard case
Has some sighs of wear commensurate with careful ownership and regular use but nothing which detracts from the overall appearance - looks great!
This is a great introduction to 10m precision or base for conversion to FT etc.
Will be sorry to see it go!

  3. Maybe someone can help. We have a 6'4" slim 18year old lad at our club looking for a jacket and trousers for 10m Air Rifle.

He is doing great so want to point him to competitions. Be a bit tough without any kit.

Hope there might be something out there for him.

    Thanks

  5. Looking for a match air rifle for student progressing to national competition

Ideally left-handed match air rifle or one that can easily be converted with replacement hand-grip and cheek piece

    Thanks

  6. Having set up a 10m Air Weapons Club from scratch I've put together a guide to help others do the same.

The modular range constructed has proved successful over many months and offers a low-cost easy route for any individual, club or society to begin in 10m Air Target. Groups like schools, Scouts, youth groups or traditional 'prone' only clubs looking to move into the more-accessible 10m Air scene will find this guide useful.

The illustrated guide includes details of how to manufacture butts, make your own 10m target changers and how to produce everything with just basic tools and DIY skills.

The modular range can then be set up and taken down for each session without the need for any tools.

I'm thinking of publishing and selling the guide to raise funds for our club.

Before I do that I'm looking for individuals who can look over the guide in the role of 'critical friend' to offer peer review of my work.

If you can spend a couple of hours looking over the guide and send me your comments/questions/suggestions - I'd be happy to forward a copy of the guide for free.

The first six reviewers will receive a free copy of my work for their review to be concluded by end of December 2019.

Please note the guide is all my own work and is a distillation of my own research and experiences over many months.  The guide is copyright and should not be copied, published, shared or otherwise distributed.

Please message me if you are able to offer your time to review this guide.

    Thank you.

I’m half decent at electronics and our club only has manual changers. They’d do for us to get started if you want to move them on ?

Hey Mike - not trying to do anyone out of a sale but I have made changers for our club.  They are easy and cheap to make from parts available online.  We have been using the units for a few years without issues. Let me know if you want details.

    Hi Victoria,

I've only just signed up to this site on the advice of a club member. Due to a medical problem and following doctors advice my shooting days are over and am therefore selling off my equipment. I spotted your request for a rifle and thought I'd reply you before putting it on the for sale board:-

Anschutz Match Model 1807L .22 Cal Long Rifle

It does have a standard wooden stock. I understand your situation in saying you are 5' 2" although we do have an exceptional female shooter are our club who would make you look like a giant and she shoots the same rifle as myself.

Anyway if you're interested come back to me and I'll take some photos - in the daylight.

    Jim

Hi Jim, not wishing to do Victoria out of a lead but would be interested in the 1807L.....
