Hi We had several Anschutz .22 cast alloy stocks of the same type break when dropped. We were able to get them repaired by welding them by a good aluminium welding company. The repair increases the cross section at the thin part a little bit so it is stronger. We haven't had any problems with any of the repaired stocks since. Martin
