I'd go with James, as it says: "It has been brought to my attention that is probably not best etiquette to ask for/solicit price advice, and then try and sell it here." So if you are not selling it on here, then just asking for advice on valuation for use elsewhere seems perfectly kosher.. Very nice looking rifle by the way - £1000 really doesn't sound unfair. Rgds

I'm placing an order for some more flexi adjusters (Twiddlies) - the long interchangeable tip type that suit both Freeland and Tucker stands - see photo. Singly they work out at £20 plus £4 recorded postage if anyone needs one. All i ask is no messers this time round!! Rgds al

To the contrary, Had one recently - seemed decent and genuine, had a long standing online presence so when they said they didn't want a tracked service just send something ordinary post i did, then they claimed it didn't arrive. Loads of grief - the whole gamut of try-on's from getting their 'friend who works for Royal Mail' to look into it to threatening my family - had to report it to the police. It went on for months but i got compensation through the court for the grief they put me through. But cold comfort for being scammed, at least the one that tried it on with me put all his threats in writing so thank god my scammer was stupid as well as dishonest!! So be warned there are some iffy people out there, don't get scammed. Rgds

A cautionary note Parcel2go have a HUGE list of non compensation items. If you can get the discounted Parcelforce rates through Paypal (hate to recommend them) you get decent prices on really heavy items and decent compensation coverage. And if someone tells you they don't want something sent by a tracked service its probably best to not get involved. Rgds

Hi all, Ta for all the help on this ghastly project so far. I still need to find the two parts in the new photo, the bottom half of the hinge and the finger - see arrows 1 and 2. The hard bit is they need to be the early raw aluminium (silver) version as shown, not the later, and seemingly more common darker grey 'monkey metal' version' If anyone has these to sell please let me know. Hi all, A bit of a long shot but i'm trying to track down a part for an old style Anschutz butt for a club member, its the centre 'adaptor' piece (shown with the arrow on the photo) that lets you use the armadillo finger in place of the usual ginormous cast alloy hook. If you have one knocking around you don't mind selling please let me know, also on the look out for the two bolts, nut and finger but the centre piece is the killer to find. Thanks and rgds

Ok all biting the bullet. Up for sale is my Match 54 (round action obviously) stock with Anschutz anatomical handstop/swivel and bipod. A back injury last year has done for my precision prone shooting for at least the foreseeable future, after a plateau in recovery and an agonizing attempt to try again i have decided to convert the rifle for bench rest and have done with it. Its the original Anschutz thumbhole stock with the adjustable cheekpiece and the handstop and bipod as shown inc the trigger guard and bedding bolts. The whole lot as pictured £250 - Checked on Ebay and last one went £260 without the handstop or bipod so £250 seems fair. I'm near Colchester to collect or can courier it if need be.
