  1. Just to be clear: Handstop and sights not included Barrel is about 10 years old and has had about 23000 rounds through it.
  2. Not used much, so it's in pristine condition, complete with case & sights £1000
  3. Both in excellent condition, though the stock has a slight crack in the cheekpiece, not that it's ever been a problem. £1500 for both together, though I may be willing to sell the two items separately Handstop & sights not included

    Mouche Bodywarm

34 - is that the chest size?
  5. I don't think the square 2000 series action will fit an 1813...
  6. As it said in the title... Butt plate not required...
  7. Probably just bad timing Terry, its a pretty expensive time of the year for all of us. Yeah, I'm interested, but I don't have the cash just yet...

    Ruger 10/22

Let's not have that argument again... The antis want all our guns, they're ALL evil... I sold something quite similar a few months back, I got £400 for it, advertised it on the NRA notice board.
  9. OK, we can chat about it then and sort something out!
  10. Yep, still available: when's the Kingsgate vs. Soton uni match on? I can fetch said rifle from Bisley and drag it along - after the 24th/25th...
  11. I can let you have my pair of MEC glasses for very little money: the only minor problem is that you'll need to get a lens holder as I adapted it to fit my Champion frame. They're looking in a bit of a sorry state, so I'd let you have them for £45! Perfectly usable for a student PM me if you're interested... And I'll make sure I can find all the bits to reassemble!
  12. There's something you don't see very often: a conversion from fullbore to the noble arts of air. I'm glad you have seen the light, my child. Go forth and spread the word. I dunno, I'm not sure how many people I can convert... I started fullbore when I had plenty of free time and money. Then I got married Pellets are about the cheapest ammo as I can get and the propellant is widely available too
  13. I'm only asking £2200, but obviously wouldn't say no to more!
  14. Fullbore target rifle. very good condition: RPA quadlite with Lothar Walther barrel about 1500 rounds through the barrel, so plenty of life left in it. About 3 years old. HPS System Gemini Stock 702 (fixed grip) Complete with HPS handstop (last generation, before the current super adjustable one), HPS bipod, RPA scope rail. Also includes Centra rearsight + Centra foresight (1 min click elevation!) + Centra iris Front + Gehmann Level + Centra iris Read (0.8-1.8) Selling because I can't afford to run 2 fullbore rifles and I could really do with an air rifle and other gear! Available for viewings at NRA armoury at Bisley by appointment... £2200 (Apologies for the grainy photo)
  15. I've not seen the old model, I bought it new very recently, so it must be the new model! So it must be the one with the big knobs! Yes, right handed...
  16. As new. I've had it a few months, but I'm not really getting on with it... Boxed with instructions etc. See Bedford Target Supplies website for more info £200 including postage, will accept paypal.

So, are you selling your wife then? Nice idea, I wonder how much kit that would enable me to buy... Not sure she'd like the idea...

Certainly isn't, but at least if you buy a Scatt, running costs will be next to nothing and should you want to sell, then secondhand demand is high so you wouldn't lose much. Investing in good kit is usually not a bad idea, you know you only have yourself to blame and you can sell it on easily. I'll have to try that argument on the wife

I find that they always slap VAT on at 17.5% but they normally can't be bothered with duty except for realy large amounts, or they have to find the correct tax codes. Last time I had something fairly small from parcelforce, I think the handling charge was only £8, not sure if it ramps up for larger amounts. One time I imported a rifle, the duty was around 3%, but there was some paperwork to do, but Fred at the NRA handled it. The really cheeky bit is where they tax you on the export fees and postage too. As for a Scatt, I'm pretty sure I saw the UK importer advertising (can't remember where) them at around the £700 mark, might be worth giving them a ring (it was certainly less than the Surrey Guns advertised price): Diverse Trading Ltd. 32 Golf Side, Cheam, Surrey SM2 7EZ England tel: 020 8642 7861 fax: 020 8642 9959 (quite tempted by one, but not sure where to find ~£700)
  20. What is that? I'd prefer a 2-stage...
  21. I'm not entirely familiar with all the permutations, but it needs to fit on my Tubb 2000, I'm guessing it's a recent one that fits the 19/20 series. Mind you I could really do with one to fit on my ancient Match 54 too if anyone has anything. Cheers, Mat

    Hawkeye Bore Scope

There's a review here: http://www.freewebs.com/precisionrifle/ess...accessories.htm (Actually a page from http://precisionrifle.co.uk/ but the page uses frames to hide the real URL ) I want one too, though not top of my wishlist just yet, I'd probably buy from Sinclair international...
  23. Also not ISSF legal: When I did taekwondo I had forearm protector pads which also covered the elbows. I think they're mad of same type of foam that goes into camping mats and they're covered in elasticated cotton. I probably still have them somewhere... I know when I started shooting prone rifle my left elbow hurt, but the pain went away, the theory being that your body copes by putting down more cartilage around the joint, e.g. you get bigger/tougher knuckles if you do pressups on your knuckles and/or punch things alot When I was at school, someone I knew used to do Thai kick boxing where the idea is to use your shins - they toughened them by bashing them with rolling pins or so he said. Of course I haven't otherwise substantiated this theory in any way, so it could total rubbish! Maybe you should practice shooting with no padding on a concrete floor, that way when you've got your jacket on and are lying on a mat it'll feel like heaven
