Get one with a rotating band on the mount such that you can angle it. Also you want an angled eye piece, not a straight one

If you're not shooting at 100 yards or more, get something not overly expensive, but you've got to get it near your eye so you don't move too much (assuming you're shooting prone).

I use a £35 pound scope from ALDI cheap and cheerful does the job
