jamesgutteridge got a reaction from Coiln in Anschutz Aluminium stock
2213 is the model of stock you want. There are other options that should fit an Anschutz round action barrel that are maybe a bit more modern.

Sneaking suspicion one might have been found in the intervening 10 years 😂

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from TargetShooting in M18 bubble foresight insert
As long as it's all the same size they are largely universal. M18 is usually the standard size.

Item arrived as described, pleasure doing businessÂ

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from Wolf_LikeMe in SOLD - Anschutz in Aluminium Stock - .22LR
Might help if you provided a bit more info - round count, age, etc.

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from Christopherspgray in Anschutz Super Match Mod. 1913 with lots of extras.
I'd probably suggest working out what all the attachments are, including a breakdown of all that is available, and coming up with a price you feel is fair.Â
Forum sales etiquette/rules are that you do not solicit advice on a price before selling the item on here, as much for your own benefit (to avoid someone dishonestly lowballing you) as anything else.
It's very difficult to give you a fair offer based on a low quality photo that doesn't show all of the rifle, even more so when you haven't listed an estimate round count, date of purchase or a breakdown of what it is you actually have for sale.

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from jonty in Walther KK
I have to question why a RH shooter would be interested in a LH stock?

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from Hitchphil in Anschutz Rear Sights for Scout Rifles
@HitchphilEdinburgh University have an absurd surplus of the bipods, imagine they would be happy to let a number go for a very reasonable price. Feel free to drop me a message if that would be of interest.

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from Hitchphil in WANTED: 22LR Target Rifle
I think Phil's point is that your friend can likely find a very good deal on Anschutz rifles because they're so commonly used, so worth not just going for the first one you're offered.

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from Christopherspgray in .308 Target Rifle with new 1/13 twist barrel
Yes, now that it has been edited to include the price subsequent to the two posts asking...

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from jonty in Scope and Stand
If you're looking for affordable scopes for juniors starting out I'd suggest looking at the more budget Opticron ranges. Perfectly adequate for indoor smallbore ranges.

Neil, a few months isn't a long time to be shooting with a club rifle. Unless there's some major defect with the club rifle or no rifle is available that is a remotely good fit for her then she'd be as well continuing with a club gun and investing in a well fitting shooting jacket if she is serious about keeping up the sport.Â
Particularly if her average is "creeping into the 90s", there's no need to have your own rifle at that stage and having something entirely adjustable may well prove to be a hindrance rather than a help.Â

Ever messaged someone your bank details while selling something on here? That data. Ever sent someone your address when buying? That data. Ever used your name when arranging to meet someone at Bisley in a PM? That data.Â
It's easier than you think to steal valuable data via online profiles.Â

Again, why do you think "no scammers" would stop untrustworthy and dishonest people? It just winds people up and it doesn't achieve anything.

Don't forget the value of all the accessories though.

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from iRommel in Rifle Valuation
I'd always assumed the issue was with soliciting a value and then selling on here Tim, obviously because of the potential for arguments, etc...
Â
My brother bought a similar rifle (same stock, handstop, foresight and buttplate but with a 2013 barrel and action and Hammerli rearsight) for £1000. That was an exceptionally good deal though, so I'd say somewhere in the region of £1000 doesn't sound unfair. It does depend on the level of usage of the barrel and the condition it's been kept in though.

jamesgutteridge got a reaction from Hemmers in .22 Rifle Ammo Haul
Honestly mate, if you're planning on doing some proper training you're better picking an ammo your rifle likes and sticking with it rather than mixing and matching with different batches and brands.
