  1. Tim, Having re-read the posts above, the fault is mine - I see that I've been a bit confused as to who has a 3D printer @trshooter might well be able to modify the file I posted, to make the attachment point sturdier and suitable for bolting onto the SG carrier, and sort you out with a physical copy. Have a word with him if you can quantify the difference between the Precise and SG, and see what can be worked out?
  2. Hi Tim, Ah, probably not of much use then! It's just the plastic part. Although if you can get it working, changing the object around a bit should be easy enough in software... The file was exported from TinkerCad, so if you need it in a different format I think it can be converted directly to .OBJ there - past that I'm a bit stumped! I don't have a printer, and I've always had someone else do the donkey work for me
  3. I know this isn't a SG cheekpiece, but here's the STL version of the Precise cheekpiece I put on my F27a and used for a few years. It may be of use? F27a cheekpiece (Precise).stl
  4. *ahem* I'm not interested myself, but other people might be wondering "near offer to what?"... unless one of the numbers is missing a £ symbol, in which case as a Yorkshireman I'd assume it to be £.308
  5. Here we go. Looks like it's a Centra "Sight 3.0 COMBI Optik". Possibly.
  6. I've got a full rearsight iris assembly, I think it's iris/filters/dioptre. Might need a bit of a clean down, as it's box has been kicking about for a few years without me ever using it, but you can have it for free if you want. Let me get home tonight, and get a picture or two for you?
  7. All users have some space on here for images. When you're logged in, at the very top of the screen there's a "create" button. Drop down the menu by clicking on the little arrow next to it, and then choose "Gallery Image". Upload your photo (WARNING: nothing saucy! The main view of the forum shows recent gallery uploads down the right hand side!! ), and then you can copy/paste the link to your gallery image into a PM.
  8. Michael, Whilst people not editing the subject of the original post to reflect availability is a particular peeve of mine (across many forums!), I believe that the post immediately above yours from the 27th of September answers that question. Nick.
  9. Hi Peter, Peli case collected successfully - many thanks! And apologies for the late reply here, I ended up being busy over the weekend and completely forgot about it
  10. Hi Peter, I'm interested in the Peli case - I'll send you an email so we can sort out the details Nick.
  11. Lol - which just goes to show that you can patent any old tosh these days. Straight away I notice: Filing date, 1 Jan 2007. Pretty sure I bought mine long before that... so "prior art"? "Modifications and variations such as would be apparent to a skilled addressee are deemed within the scope of the present invention." - i.e. "anything that you can think of that improves our design is also part of our design"... err, no.
  12. Bump to the top, as this is still a bargain and I can't understand why someone hasn't bitten his arm off? Anyway, Here's a close up of my scope rail. As you can imagine, it would have been... 'interesting' trying to position the mounts to get that eye relief with the Bleiker rail
  13. Nope, I was wrong again - they both have magazines. https://www.bleiker.ch/?lid=1#!42 CISM, 10 shot magazine https://www.bleiker.ch/?lid=1#!43 CISM Prone, 8 shot magazine. (and yes, the Bleiker website is terrible...)
  14. Err, mine has a magazine? That's why the stock is so deep just in front of the trigger guard... Edit while typing: you're thinking of the CISM *PRONE* stock - https://bleiker.ch/?lid=1#!56 ... have a close look at the angle of the stock in front of the trigger guard, and compare it to the plain CISM model - https://bleiker.ch/?lid=1#!55 You're not forced to use the magazine though, it's just a loading platform when I shoot!
  15. Jo, I have one of these rifles, which I use to shoot F-Class at 200 and 500 yards, and if I lived 200 miles closer to Bisley, I'd probably use for 300m as well... Pro: That's a very good price for the rifle if it includes the sights as per the picture! As the rifle is designed for 300m shooting you shouldn't have any problems using it for that, and the 6BR round is pretty accurate out to that distance. 350 is a decent round count, the usual estimates for a 6BR are 5-6000 rounds out of a barrel. Cons (all minor, really): It'll do you fine for short range F-Class, *if* you replace the rearsight dovetail rail with a longer one. The one fitted by Bleiker is about 1/2 the length of the top of the action, and is not long enough to sensibly mount a scope on; if you look at the picture above you can just about see rail being only just longer than the fitted sights! The good news is that it's a simple enough engineering job to manufacture a replacement - I got Barry Nesom on the job for mine. Use Loctite on the two bolts when you put them back in, otherwise they will fall out again after a few boxes of ammo The stock isn't the greatest in terms of shape and adjustment - you'll probably want to upgrade to a better one in time. The 6BR round starts to fade a bit at 500 yards, so it gets affected by the wind more than the larger F-Class calibres. You'll not be using it at 1000 yards either Factory ammunition (Norma DIamond Line is pretty much the only choice) is CRIPPLINGLY expensive, so expect to reload them! I'd say "yes, buy it", but by all means have a word with your mate first
  16. Fitting sights - you're doing it wrong.
  17. Wears out? Mine's over a decade old and still working! What are you doing to them?

    Spotting Scope

I use one of those Greenkat/Opticron angled eyepiece scopes, with a 22x eyepiece in it. It's almost 20 years old now, and as I haven't abused it it's still clear at 100 yards to the point where I can call "just out" in most light conditions... They're still comparably cheap, so for £600 I would expect you to be able to get something like this.
  19. And a pleasure to meet you too! I didn't fall over anything else for the weekend I'll try and get a photo of the width of the M grip to go with the ones you've posted. Tomorrow though, it's 23:57 and I've only just got sat down after unpacking the car!
  20. As it turns out, mine has "L" stamped inside the hollow so I'd be up for swapping. Don't suppose you're at Bisley this week?
  21. TBH, I don't even know what size is on mine Is the size stamped on it somewhere?
  22. Cheers for that... as I feared, that's not the version I've got! Mine has the nose piece as a separate plastic item, with no metal in it, and a little screw hole where it attaches onto the fixed nose bridge. Yours is a more advanced version where the nose bridge can be (re?)moved.
  23. Any chance of a picture? I've got an old set of these where the nose piece could do with replacing, but it would probably be best to at least visually check that it's the right one!
