    Cheap small bore match rifle

I'm looking for an older small bore rifle to build for a Junior, must be a good action/barrel/trigger with sights, Anschutz 54 ideal or similar, basic stock, as we will cut and shut to fit. Perhaps an old club rifle? Robin

    Bleiker 6mm br CISM

The first 300 metre date is 16th/17th March, 2019, a Training week end, chance to shoot indoor firing points, electronic targets, will still be cold, but warmer than out side, and dry! Contact 300m@nra.org.uk to book FP time, best closer to the date.

    Junkers shooting glasses

Ok, you fans of special kit! I have a very good condition original pair of Junkers shooting glasses, as used by Malcolm Cooper! I and several other discerning shooters still use them, they are particularly good for full bore as you can get them really close to the eye, and you also have a left lens for wind spotting, reading, or what ever your fancy. They look a bit Harry Potter, and the adjustment is bending to fit, but they were the choice of Malcolm, (and me!) , these are original ones in good condition, in the metal case, and even with the original lens cloth, idented as Junkers. £50 posted. NOW SOLD!

    Mec Duplex

I have for sale, two new unused MEC duplex's, each in their container with allen key, and one used MEC Duplex. To fit them you need the MEC Duplex Lenshood, and will need the Duplex elements, not supplied. To save you asking why, I was planning to use them on all my rifles including 300 mts, they are superb in reasonably constant light conditions, but a pain in the proverbial, in varying light, but I still have two, one standard and one vario, and use them on my small bore and an air rifle. New ones, two off :- £95 each posted SOLD S/H one, one off :- £75 posted SOLD

    Bleiker 6mm br CISM

I do also agree that is a good price and well worth the price, the barrel count is fine, but just to correct, 6 mmBR accurate barrel life is 2500 -3000 certainly for shooting on tight targets such as 300 m and F class. Also 6 mmBR shoots very well at 500 and 600 yds, my wife uses her spare 6 mmBR at 600 very successfully to practice wind, (and that's using our soft loaded 300 m loads), shoots flatter and handles wind very similar to 7.62 because the Ballistic Coefficient (BC) is better, and they will also go out to 1000 with no problems. For 300 m use, the CISM has a 1500gm trigger, but the free trigger can be fitted, and the rifle shoots very well at 300 m (what its designed for), agree on ammo, factory Norma or Lapua is silly expensive, we reload top level ammo, works out about 60p a pop using 107 gn SIerra MK's. Both you and Nick are welcome to come to the gb300m dates to shoot the real thing! I'd have bought it at that price if I'd had a space on my ticket! So get it quick before I'm tempted to get a variation! I'm surprised its still there!

    Centra Vibrake

The KK500 one is purely a sight raiser and also a rail over the port, although on the KK500 there is also a full rail over the port on the action. The sight line is so low that I've never seen any one who shoots with out it on. The KK500 on also works nicely on a KK300 for any one who wants the sights a long way forward.

    rear sight required

Cheap sights, you get what you pay for, a cheap sight!!! And Gamo are rubbish. The best budget sight is the Gehmann 590 compact, they are top level quality at budget money, we have used them for air, small bore, and my wife is currently using one on her 300 metre rifle, excellent sights for budget money of around £140 new, and they will fit any dovetail. Have Fun Robin

    7.62 Swing

Now withdrawn, due to being messed about by a supplier on my new one, doing what I should have done in the first place after spending a fortune on it. I'm having it in a new stock with new sights, so now its only:- A Walther UIT Walnut stock, bedded for a Mk 3 Swing, complete with Walther rail and sling swivel, Gehmann but plate and adjustable cheek piece. £100 ONO plus postage. 7.62 Swing

Thanks Phil I'm afraid I think these long barrel lengths is old fashioned bull****, the twist is the important thing to match the ammo weight and speed, the burn is long over by the length many run, I work on balance and sight base, the 13 twist on a 26 is near enough perfect, it shoots possibles at 600 when I point it at the middle. The stock is a standard Walther UIT prone stock from the 80's, deep pistol grip, parallel rounded fore end, a bit wide for me, I nearly ground the fore end slimmer as I have small hands, but never got around to it, now just as well! Chris bought a stock of Borders before they collapsed and ours were the last of his stock, so we had the last of the Kolbe Borders, fitted the beginning of last year. The bolt retaining is a leaf spring. It went to Robert as my wife could not open the bolt, usual Swing wrestling job, its now a rare Swing, smooth (for a Swing) bolt opening. I took some pics today, email me and I'll crash your computer for you with an overload. We are shooting both days 28th/29th so no time, but you are welcome to visit, you may be glad to if its raining! I'll make space and take it down. I think we have a match Sat afternoon but its only last an hour. Old farts, we now only do prone. Be a busy week end this weekend as well, I have a new 6 mmBR barrel to run in, and that's only 22 ins!
