Sorry not to have posted an update on these items but they have all gone

Missed the last one for sale. Has anyone got anything secondhand for sale or know anyone with one for sale? Nijel Dudley at Fonthill is looking to buy one to supplement his pistol shooting.

Have the NSRA stopped selling these two in one combined volume which is where I got mine?

This is possible with a bolt handle adapter so that the bolt can be operated left handed but where you get them from I don't know

Well there are bargains and bargains I suppose. That's dearer than I was hoping for. As a matter of interest a chap at our club walked into his local FD ready to order a new Walther single shot air pistol. Low and behold there was one on the shelf for £550 complete with case, 3 cylinders etc etc, a matter of months old, returned by someone who had lost interest or whatever. He has since sold his old Walther Co2 for £400 so has changed for the princely sum of £150 which has to be a bargain!

Would be nice to know the details in case its a bargain!

From memory shooting starts at about 12 noon with 2 details of 60 shot matches plus an Olympic final then tea afterwards at the City RC I don't think we get away from Bisley until 6 or 7pm so there is no way you can be back for 4pm! I'll glady pick up whatever from Rose as required - I assume you'll post a cheque as I won't have chance to see you before Sunday

Hi Tim and Rose I am pretty local to Tim and I am at the LRC on Sunday 9th October if it helps. We have the inter Plymouth cities in the World match on the Malcolm Cooper range and we shoot it as a postal with an annual trip to the LRC. Tim you could even come and shoot and come with me in my car if you wish! Robert

I think Neil's policy approach is right. I am not sure to what extent other firms are monitoring/stopping Instant Messenger/Chat type arrangements but we have noticed a huge rise in this as a way of keeping non-work related stuff off the record such that our IT department have the go ahead to stop them altogether. I have used them just a few time to keep up to date with my son when he was abroad so I can see where Robin is coming from with his conference chats. Its a cheap way to communicate over long distance. A partner had his mobile nicked in Spain and he cancelled it. Vodafone cancelled the chip in his car at home and not the one in his phone and the thieves ran up a bill of over £1,000 in a couple of weeks which Vodafone have now agreed to credit as they messed up. Most of the "older", "less techie" generation are not aware of these chat possibilities in preference to more traditional means of communication like phones, mobiles and email.

Pleased to hear that you sold well. Annoyed to hear that martinis are worth money as the club got rid of some for nothing and they were supposed to go to a good cause eg scouts, club starting etc. I suspect we was robbed by the sound of it. Were your pics under 100k in size cos if not the website won't accept them as it uses up too much of Neil's webspace and takes too long to load them when browsing from a dial up connection.
