I'd echo the above about guntrader - a good site for used guns at a variety of prices, some very good ! Also give Surrey guns a ring. They have just been taken over by a new owner so will be in a state of transition of the next couple of weeks, but I think they still have a selection of used guns. Rob.

Guntrader is a very good site if you have a shopping list in mind, and a budget. Take a look on there and then ask around your club etc, and here, to see if it looks like a good price. You obviously need to look at the gun before you buy, but you may be able to get it transferred to a local dealer so you can inspect it (they will however charge you the costs incurred). I bought my rifle in that manner and my girlfriend sold 2 of hers like that, using a local dealer as middleman. Rob.

You might want to consider an ambidextrous grip. They make them now for the steyrs (again ask Harry) and would suit your sisters initially until you buy them each their own gun and new grips Rob.

Like David said, the extra taxes and support issues make it sound like a very unattractive proposition to me. You'd be far better off contacting the UK dealer and enquiring about a second hand model - they do crop up every now and again. Rob.

In my control panel I have '-2 new messages' , has something funny happened ? I don't have any unread messages, that I can see so have no idea what that refers to. Rob.

I too seem to get it variably. At, IE6, work with a static IP address it sometimes forgets itself, every 2 or 3 days. At home also IE6 but a volatile IP address it seems to be similar. It has got worse but it's even worse on a fishing site I frequent, that seems to need entering every day on both work and home PC's. Rob.

I'm interested in trying to get hold of something like an LP2 compact for my pony club shooters. It would need an extra small RH grip. It will be a club gun so I'm just after a 2nd hand model, and the cheaper the better really. Rob.

There's one of the other posters here who got a cheap but very good case knocked up for pistol. I'm pretty sure that company would be cheaper, certainly much cheaper than the pistol case price quotes above. Rob.

Just wondering if anyone either has one that fits the MM2 or can suggest somewhere not too pricey to pick one up from (apart from ebay) ? In most shops the zoom eyepiece is about £90 and the fixed about £50. I only paid about 60 for the scope so I'd rather not pay full price for the eyepieces. Rob.

I tend to agree that the Rohm is a better gun than an old fwb springer. There are some others that I know another poster got for his young shooters but I can't remember the make or details (that was Peter, PSF32) or whatever his username is Rob.

Umm - if people were happy spending 5 times more on a gun cabinet then your suggestions sound good. I doubt however most people want anything other than a cheap functional item. Some may prefer something 'pretty' but a metal box in the corner of the spare room is OK with me. Security aspects - a keypad system might be better as it'd save having to carry the keys with you at all times. And you've pretty much got to have a separate lockable inner area for ammo / bolts - unless of course you want two safes. Rob.
