Mac Posted 18 May 2004 Share Posted 18 May 2004 If memory serves, my rifle has the dovetail cut straight into the barrel so it shouldn't be a problem. I have heard that a raising block is needed, run out of elevation otherwise. If the barrel has the grooves cut into it (as opposed to a block on top of it) then you shouldn't need the raiser block - the sights are designed for 19xx and 20xx series rifles.
