Neilj62 Posted 19 August 2014 Share Posted 19 August 2014 Does anyone know where I can get hold of a wooden cheek piece for an 1813 stock at all? Ideally the "fold up" one from the later version of the stock. Thanks
tim s Posted 19 August 2014 Share Posted 19 August 2014 Fold up Cheekpiece? There is only one 1813 cheekpiece as far as I'm aware? Do you mean the later 1913/2013 ratchet cheekpiece? If it is 1813 you want, I may have one in the spare bits bag.
Neilj62 Posted 21 August 2014 Author Share Posted 21 August 2014 Hi Tim, Yes you are absolutely right the "fold up" one was on the 1913 stock, and what I've got is definitely an 1813 so if you do have one then we should talk turkey☺️ Thanks Neil. tim s Posted 21 August 2014 Share Posted 21 August 2014 I’ll have a look in my bag of crap treasured items not currently in use.
tim s Posted 22 August 2014 Share Posted 22 August 2014 I have looked in the bag, and have drawn a blank. I did have half a paper template for cover for an 1813 cheekpiece, but no cheekpiece. I think it may have been left in Exeter.

RobertBeard Posted 13 September 2014 Share Posted 13 September 2014 I quite often see posts where someone is looking for older Anschutz spare parts. I would always suggest that a phone call to Arthur Harvey at Budleigh Farm would be worth the effort. He has been at Budleigh Farm for about 30 years and an Anschutz dealer for that time although I would say that he is more likely to be able to help with wooden stocks than aluminium. He used to be a regular visitor to the factory at Ulm selecting rifles, barrels and parts and Dieter Anschutz is a personal friend. His workshop is a bit like Fultons with loads of bits and pieces so if you are stuck for something give him a call. http://www.BudleighFarm.co.uk Squishy, 10 Dots and jonty
