KennyB Posted 7 May 2013 Share Posted 7 May 2013 Has anyone suggested to you that a small raising block (4mm) might lift the sights far enough off the receiver so that the thumbwheel can do up? You might have enough travel on the sights so you wouldn't need a riser under the foresight either. Just a thought... K.
gregsy Posted 7 May 2013 Author Share Posted 7 May 2013 (edited) Thanks Kenny, thats a good suggestion. I currently use 3 different types of rear sight so I'm hoping to end up with three exactly the same, so that I can keep everything uniform between the three distances. But if they don't sell that may well be the answer for the time being. Greg Edited 7 May 2013 by gregsy
jonty Posted 8 May 2013 Share Posted 8 May 2013 Remove the thumbwheels and replace with standard hexagon nuts and small washers. Tighten up with a small spanner. SIMPLES. Jonty
Squishy Posted 8 May 2013 Share Posted 8 May 2013 Take the ident springs out from under the thumb screws as well. then you can adjust your sights even finer than 1/8 minute.

Which screws are you refering to? the thumb wheels which clamp it to the vee or do you mean the adjustment knobs! Jonty

Guest Nessie Posted 12 May 2013 Share Posted 12 May 2013 How does the Eagle eye work for you? I'm thinking of moving to shooting without glasses, would this help me?
