Neilj62 Posted 25 January 2009 Share Posted 25 January 2009 Does anyone know of any body out there who is competent to replace the rubber elbow pad on an Andrew Tucker shooting jacket? I've tried the obvious places - NSRA and Andrew Tucker Sports supplies neither of whom are able to do anything, or suggest anyone who may be able to do the repair for me. The best bit is I even have a replacement rubber to go on; all I need is someone with the right equipment (and the know-how of course) to do the job! Neil. Rutland Shooter Posted 25 January 2009 Share Posted 25 January 2009 Try a local saddler. They usually have the necessary equipment and should have the required skills. I have seen very good repairs; and even alterations; carried out by them over the years Rutty

tickford Posted 26 January 2009 Share Posted 26 January 2009 I had the elbow rubbers on my Monard Jacket repaired by a local motorcycle leathers supplier/repairer. They are very skilled at working with heavy materials and did a good job for me. There is possibly a similar shop close to you.
