I did notice that the NSRA has a Walther on the SH rack, similar design to the 1907 with the deep wooden stock etc. I think it was up at £250 but don't quote me

Hi everyone,
I am interested in hunting down 3 more modern shooting jackets than those our club is currently endowed with (which seem to have come out of the ark). I need a small, medium, and a large - let's say a size 38; a size 46; and a size 54. I appreciate some jacket sizes seem to add 10 to what we would normally consider the right size. For clarity therefore the small needs to fit a reasonably skinny chap; the medium would fit someone who probably needs to go bit lighter on the beer; the large is for "the larger gentleman".
Can anyone help?
I need to propose prices to the club chairman - there would be a budget, perhaps £20 to £50 per jacket. This is aimed at the more philanthropic donor! Images would be useful too, if possible.
Many thanks.
Chris

May I suggest searching "Anschutz" on a certain well known online auction site!!
Stuff appears on there, even so you may still struggle with your budget.

Having just bought a new 2213 ali stock for my 1907, I now have an Anschutz 1807-U45 stock fitted with an MEC Contact111 buttplate for sale. These are virtually brand new and unmarked having been used for only 8 evening sessions. Please contact me with questions or send me your email address if you want to see photo's.
All the best

Just a thought, but you may have a bit more luck if you say how much you want for the said item

There are several emporiums that specialise in 10/22's.
South Yorkshire Shooting Supplies are a good bet but it depends on how much he wants to spend.

-Blieker Truttman wire sling
Photos will be emailed on request.
reasonable offers only please...
- MEC Stop II
'An adjustable handstop, designed to give minimal pressure on the hand. The depth of the central axis can be adjusted for differing hand sizes - a sideways offset of the axis reduces transmission of pulse beats to the rifle. The large fixing screw permits easy fastening of the handstop in position using one hand, and there are two fixing points for the sling attachment.'
Used but in perfect condition :- £70 ono
Jamie
Regarding the sling is it a left or right hander? Also can you PM what sort of reasonable offer you're looking for.

FAC is in progress, looking at getting myself a riffle.
Got a rough idea of what I want but it is only vague so if anyone has a rifle going i will definately consider it.
Hello and welcome to the Forum
Would you be looking for Aluminium Stock or Wooden? Also a rough idea of your budget also helps.

yeah yeah!
at least i don't have to do the postal trials for the Dewar this year!!!!!
You just had to bring that up didn't you.
hahahaahahahaahahaaaaaa of coarse she had to bring that up
if it was the other way round you would be picking on her
Dave would never pick on Michelle, he's far to much of a gentleman unless you count water bottles and the threat of a dunking in the stream in the IoM!!

I am afraid not tis the older style 1913 which are dark metal colour, the ones you posted look from the 21 series. The ones i be after are the ones that attach to the old anschutz armadillo construction
Jim
No problem, I hope you find what your looking for
cheers

Looking for a pair of the location pins (for want of better words) for the above that slide into the stock, so i can screw them into a Gemini butt hook assembly and attach to 1913, These are the long ones about 3 inches long with markings and numbers on them and possible a flat edge on one side
jim is this what your after or the actual gemini ones, if this is any good to you i can let it go. I'm going to Jersey first thing tomorrow and will be back next wednesday.
cheers alan

The head space is the distance from the face of the bolt to the chamber, if it's too large when you close the bolt on the case it will leave room to move when fired, this can have all sorts of issues with consistant accuracy.
thats the simple 'im only a sparky" version
I'm sure someone can give you far more details if you wish

I'd be tempted to ring the NRA at Bisley and speek to Fred the armorer, he may know of something, or try Fultons.
