  1. Are we going to have a party when the milestone is passed Neil, congratulations in anticipation.
  2. No problem with IE7 under XP SP3
  3. Are you running on a network with strange settings? Have you tried turning off Norton temporarily? Have you tried reducing your IE security and privacy settings temporarily? As I previously said, I am no computer expert. I'm just suggesting the things I would try if I was the only person reporting a problem.
  4. Walter, it sounds like you're the only person having a problem, and only from 1 machine. I check the site regularly throughout the day from 3 different machines and don't have a problem. Have you got some weird firewall/AV/Spyware/ISP/?? settings on your laptop. How are you connecting with your laptop. Are you running Onspeed (normally brilliant but it can occasionally cause problems). I'm no computer expert but, from the lack of other complaints, your laptop does seem to be the exception rather than the rule.
  5. Whoa Sunbeam, OTT reaction IMHO.
  6. Well he was 10 weeks ago anyway.
  7. I know that there is a difference between English as spoken by in the U.S. and English as spoken in England, so I need some help in understanding the statement. Is this an example of British humor? Or simply the opinion of the writer? Fred, it's based on the theory that a true English gentleman would only use a side-by-side shotgun to shoot game birds. Only jumped-up "new money" would even think about using a semi-auto, pump our over-and-under.
  8. Seems to have worked Neil, thank you.
  9. Logged out, logged in, went to the General forum and found 9 topics with last posting dates between 10th and 25th October with new post markers. Then went to Governing Bodies / NSRA forum and found 4 topics with last posting dates between 31st July and 15th October with new post markers. Isn't there any way of reverting to the old version of the software before frustration overtakes interest.
  10. Half a dozen mentos mints in the mouth, followed by a good swig of Diet Coke. That'll wake you up.
  11. XP SP2, IE fully updated, still not working I'm afraid.
  12. This is driving me mad. I haven't got the faintest idea what I have read and what I haven't. New Post markers appearing where they shouldn't be, not appearing where they should be, and ancient dormant threads appearing in my "View New Posts" for no reason. I going off to open a bottle of wine (or 3).
  13. Is it just me or are others also having problems with the new post markers. They seem to just appear whenever they want and "view new posts" brings up posts that I've already read. Yes, I am pressing the "mark all posts as read and return" link. Yes, I have tried deleting all cookies. Yes, it does happen on more than one machine. Any ideas?
  14. You can also put your name in your profile.
  15. If you're judging the additional warmth on the time since you finished the roof then you may find other factors came into play Congratulations are due to any club nowadays who can get their members to complete major projects.

  17. I too would be worried but not because there is anything wrong with Center Shot, the Raabs are well respected. I would be more worried in case anything went wrong. There is no problem in buying items from other countries, providing that you accept that you might not get the same level of support from your local importer that you would if he had originally supplied the item. Another thing to remember when buying from the US, you might get hit for import duty and VAT. Still think it's cheap?
  18. Neil, I agree with Robert. Give us back the (optional) PayPal button. There is no reason why you should be out of pocket by running this forum.
  19. No, you suggested that earlier so I obviously ignored it I'll try that now and see what happens.
  20. Yep, had to log in again at home at 17:50 23/02/2007. Could it be a coincidence? One machine Win98 with IE6 and the other XP with IE7.
  21. I just had to log in again at my office, 16:33 23/02/2007. Anyone else get logged out? I will see if I need to log in again on my home computer.
  22. I get it with IE6 on Win98SE and IE7 on XP Pro
  23. At work I have a static address and at home my address only changes when I reboot my cable modem (which I haven't done for several months). I know that if I have to re-login on one of the computers that I will have to do the same when I use the other one.
  24. I still favour the idea that one of Neil's servers is developing amnesia and losing it's log-in IP address records occasionally. I guess we'll know soon.
  25. But it happened a couple of times in as many days. I still think it must be something at Neil's servers.
