  1. Hi Huey, No PM has come through so i think Cumbrian has nailed it - PM's could be broke! Rgds al 07572 040004 acampbell15491@gmail.com
  2. Hi all, I don't know if these are of any use to anyone but they aren’t to me - handstops as per photo, the two smaller are for BSA's i think, the two larger fit Anschutz, They all have sling swivels. Also spare plastic from an Anschutz ergo handstop. Price no idea - how about ten quid each ??!! Edit: - Found a last few bits clearing out old case, Sold - Anschutz butt hook with both mounting and retaining screws £30. Jacket arm sling hook and mounting buckle with screws £10 Anschutz fit handstop + Q/R sling release mount with swivel - push button type. £15 Thanks and rgds al
  3. This was bought a while ago, its a Redfield international mk8 rearsight (Mk8 having 1/8th adjustments) and the matching receiver mount for dovetail fittings. I underestimated the availability of the alternative adaptor to fit it to a M1917 and finally got a AJ Parker that fitted straight on - so this is surplus to requirements Sight and adaptor together how about £95, probably needs a service so keeping it cheap, apparently the mount also works for Wilkes sights and the like and is worth £50 alone. It cost me a hundred and fifty all in to get it here - (darn import tax though thank god the dollar rate) there aren't many in the UK least not i could find. The price includes UK mainland INSURED and TRACKED delivery, please don't ask for post without signature on delivery. Thanks and rgds al 07572040004
  4. Hi all, Sounds weird i know but: I have a Parker Hale scope stand with missing leg (not my doing) if anyone wants it for spares to repair another or have / can make a leg for it they are welcome to it for nowt. Can't bring myself to bin it - someone might have a use for it. Message for photo's. Near Colchester to pickup. rgds al
  5. Hi Raven, Hitchphil, apologies all gone , they went within mins, Rgds and thanks al
  6. Hi all, Up for grabs the 3 last 'twiddlies'. I kept these in case replacements were needed when someone said a pack i sent hadn't arrived, however after they demanded i tell porkies to Royal Mail and other wonderful stuff it became clear the situation wasn't kosher. These have interchangeable end threads so fit either Freeland or Tucker stands, or if need be you can fit a custom end easily, the ends change with a grub screw. £5 (yes £5 :-) each twiddly including adaptors for both Freeland and Tucker (plus post £3.78 per twiddly if needed to UK destinations - please don't ask me to post unrecorded to save money / no one home to sign, blah blah etc !) Proceeds to Helen Rollason cancer charity, a fave of mine - might as well do a bit of good. Best regards and thanks al
  7. Tim thanks for the pointer and Robin thanks for the info. Sounds like a job i can do and the insight means i should get it right first time, especially the primer info - without the heads up i would have used it. And i must agree it is a cracking sight, i may well get one for myself, but without 'blinging' it up. Again many thanks and best regards al
  8. Ok wierd question i know - but i think i saw a message on here about someone color coding a Gehmann 590 rearsight. Does anyone know who it was? have done a search but no luck. While i am stuck at home with an iffy back i may have volunteered for too many time filling jobs, and the mention of this one has been greeted with too much enthusiasm to get out of it and would like to ask if it worked out ok and what they used. Rgds and thanks al
  9. Phil, took your advice , got a 3/53 and perfecto - thanks. All i need now is to find a replacement ejector for when/if my biro spring repair gives up. Rgds al
  10. Hi all, The stand is reduced to £35 if anyone is interested, the owner says he's ok with that to get it gone. (i can't figure how to edit the original post - possibly lost last braincells at xmas..) rgds al
  11. The scope is now sold - many thanks, so the stand is now available on its own, £45 collect from near Colchester or post - courier £5.78 in the UK. Rgds al
  12. Hi and Happy New Year to one and all. I'm selling this for a friend who is retiring from shooting after a good 50 odd years. Spotting scope stand with original wrap around fitting for old scopes like Greenkat's etc plus a pretty much new 30 to 90 zoom 90mm scope of the modern tripod fitting type plus a Manfrotto head to use the scope on the stand. How about £100 the lot - collect from near Colchester or Parcelforce £14 Thanks and best regards al
  13. Hi Neo, Clarity is good, i used to have an actual TSN1 and from memory its pretty close. The standard eyepiece on it is a 20-60 zoom which is decent and if you have gnarly eyesight like mine it will also take Kowa wide angles and the like which gives it a bit or versatility. Its also the correct fitting to take the Minox camera eyepiece if you want to record shoots or just like the ease of looking at a screen :-) I got this while my 820 was off to Japan as i could use my extra lenses as normal. rgds al
  14. If anyone needs one i have a spotting scope up for grabs, Its the old Inpro clone of the Kowa TSN1. 20 to 60 zoom x 70mm and comes with cover. I have had it a couple of months to tide me over while my Kowa was away for service, which has arrived back this morning so now its surplus. How about £40? Handy as Kowa Eyepieces fit. Collect from near Colchester in Essex or i can post mainland UK £8. Regards al
  15. Morning, Well i owe you all a big thank you, the seller offering it was adamant the M80 could be fitted to the P14 if i found the right plate, If i had bought it i would have been snookered - I really don't want to drill or damage the rifle in any way (ta for the warning Hitchphil) its too good to muck it around. One piece of advice i have been given over this is the best sight you can stick on the p14 for target work is a John Wilkes, they can definitely be fitted and were very popular, Designed by Svenson, 1/4moa adjustment and the dogs danglies for a p14 target conversion. Does that sound like a good idea? You guys have saved me getting ripped off, so beers on me at Bisley next year. rgds al
  16. Morning, thanks for the help Huey and everyone. Had a look last night, The M80 i have been offered looks like the one on Ebay only without the mounting bracket, the one in Huey's photos looks like one that doesn't need a mounting plate/bracket. I wonder if BigAl is right and Huey's is a PH not AJ. Ironically the M80 is i am told the last and best version however its the one there is least info about. Will take some photo's tonight to try and highlight the prob a bit better, in the meantime as an aside - while looking for info on the sight i found this: http://www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/industrial-sites/25810-alfred-parker-ltd-armoury-birmingham-jan-2013-a.html#.VmF2Pqf1G1E Sad.. Thanks and regards al
  17. The foresight has sold separately (thanks Dave), so the rear sight is now available on its own £40. rgds al
  18. Hi, just home i'm gonna check now. Though i'm beginning to think this may be more complicated than i thought by there being more than one version of the sight. Back in a bit al
  19. Err wow thank you. Rgds Al
  20. Hi, Does anyone by any chance have a P14 mounting plate for the AJ parker M80 rear sight, either for sale or one they could do a diagram of so i can machine one up. I have reached one of those stumped moments having tried all the usual suppliers and now realize what a long shot this is. Many thanks and rgds al
  21. Hi, I'm on the lookout for a torque wrench suitable for match 54 bedding bolts, anyone got one they are looking to sell? rgds and thanks al
