You have 2 x 4751 models available I think?  Would they fit the requirement?

Its not a Dolphin I'm familiar with if it is, I think its an HPS, which is made by Mik, but same issue for me, why are they so b****y long!!! My modded super shorties with adjustable folding cheek piece with Walther grip are much nicer, polished alloy bling, and prettier colour, see the next NRA article!  Your dolphin pic is the new one, with the butt plate design they copied from one of my speciaIs , I use the old one Dolphins because they are slimmer.

I'll see Mik soon I'll confirm but you should have sold it by then!.
Sorry Phil butting in on your sale, what ever it is guys, just buy it!

@HitchphilEdinburgh University have an absurd surplus of the bipods, imagine they would be happy to let a number go for a very reasonable price. Feel free to drop me a message if that would be of interest.

Thanks for the reply, my friend shoots FTR 6.5 cr so he knows about rifles, he wants to get into 22 disciplines for his own reasons as his 452 (trainer) that he shoots mainly prone isn't doing it for him so he wants to get something more tailored.
The Supermatch he's after is the model that he wants (nostalgia) and I don't blame him, they're an excellent rifle for the money and yes many variations of the 54 action are available but an 1813 Supermatch in good order mechanically and cosmetically.. Not so much.
The post that was knocking Annie's did have hints of condescending overtones to it which don't really help this thread.

I think Phil's point is that your friend can likely find a very good deal on Anschutz rifles because they're so commonly used, so worth not just going for the first one you're offered.

I've got a standard rear sight I can donate to the cause.  Not down at Bisley for a while so I can post (or maybe drop off to / from work?).

Scouts RC have been offered a heap if Anschutz Match 54 rifles & a few 64s too, ideal for smaller kids etc but they dont have sights.
If you have any old steel or ally framed Anschutz rear sights, (even bits to fix sights) that will fit & are willing to donate or sell for a token price then please PM me. Some basic foresight tunnels too.
Post costs can be covered or transport via network & Bisley.
Maybe you upgraded & its in a box, or now do benchrest or just had a spare thats not being used? It can be put to good use generating future shooters.

    Thanks in advance Phil

Brunel Uni RC have interest from over 250 students in shooting from their freshers fair! after 2 years of no activity thats a fantastic result.
Over the last 2-3 years the kit has denuded, lost, broken & they are missing some bits - can anyone help? - cheap or donations or bits to fix or ID where to get them cheap etc :
20 guns socks (a bulk order) - all the rifles had surface rust after 2y in store.  Quick detach sling loops (42mm) for those ESE hand stops - 4 off.  ESE slings or similar. Gloves - any. Bipods - the simple black ones that lock in the rail, not fold up. Scops stands or bits of them to make ones that work.......  22 cleaning kit  - jags, points, brushes & patches. Spare parts for Rhom twinmaster pneumatic air pistols.  Older stroke pneumatic air rifles or 177 break back air rifles. (student proof ones).  A Walther hand stop sling loop. - famously different from all the rest!  Simple adjustable rear sight irises for their competition guns.  Odd 22 ammo - leftovers, ends of box/batch, abandoned etc for freshers to shoot off.  Can anyone help? if so please message me or contact me I'm on FB, shooting forums etc.
There are other Uni clubs & possibly near you - after 2 years of generating no shooters their current club members were 1st years when lockdown prevented them from learning to shoot! they need help to survive & regroup - if you can spare time coaching, helping, supervising, fixing kit then they need it & now especially this year. In the last 4 years we lost - Reading, Glasgow, Coventry & Uni London uni shooting clubs. Others are struggling to reestablish so if you love this sport now is the time to help!

They are M6 x0.75 pitch you can buy them from some machine suppliers - i used to buy long M6 stainless then put a 0.75 tap down it to cut my own at '10% price charged by gunshops. What most shooting suppliers charge for a simple if not that common bolt is a scandal!

They can be bought from here - http://www.nssocketscrews.com/html/contact or here: http://www.stainlessautomotivefastenings.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=123_25&products_id=5002

the washers are M6 'Belleville', again easy & cheap to buy from a basic machine stockists -

Oh & if you want to avoid paying £25! wt?! for a lever arm bolt for stock / hand stop adjustment get them here for £3 +pp http://www.boneham.co.uk/shop/product/adjustable_clamping_lever_erm

Just when you think rocking horse poo is rare some unicorn poo turns up!

this will fit a P14 & work very well indeed a Swing rear sight with a P14 adaptor plate!!!! rarer than a 3/53Z.

The sight you have been offered will only fit Mauser or poss Musgrave & poss Swing too if the mount is modified. To fit a sight on a P14 its mounted with an integral tang & plug that goes under the bolt retaining leaf spring or a fork & a plug with a lug on it to go under the spring. Its then held secure by the axis pin thru the sight 'ears'.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Parker-Hale-PH5B-P14-Enfield-Aperture-sight-Pattern-1914-/321934657017?hash=item4af4cd05f9:g:sR0AAOSwcBhWUll1 you can see that as the brass bit bottom of pic 2 (but that sight has been repaired to braze a pin on)

The only way to fit the sight you haev been offered to your P14 is to drill holes thru the left ear & bolt it directly on. but you may then not have equal windage left & right as it may not be mechanically central (will be close).

The M80 might be 'better' than other sights but if the sight is 1/4 moa windage & works with no backlash then other P14 sights will work as well on a P14. They all have the drawback of the small Redfield PH thread eyepiece so less light.

This might work but again you need to drill the ears to fit it. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/One-Parker-Hale-model-TZ-M68-rear-sight-and-mount/161901502275?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3De1a3b264f5694b35ab7b5f8cadcd10cc%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D252190841706

I have a good working std PH5B but its 1/2 moa windage, but tbh thats good enough for a P14. £80 inc post.

also beware the twin zero is probably erroneous many were calculated for cordite 303 (thats faster than current PPU 174grain 303) & not 7.62nato ball & certainly not 308win so they will never align. You need to properly zero the rifle & slip the plates so 300yds = 3moa & write down the settings per distance. 500 =7, 600=13 etc

    good luck.

Get the exact length or your bolt may not work properly but you can simply hacksaw & grind to the right length on a bench or angle grinder.

The screws are M6 x0.75 pitch & can be bought as Socket head stainless for a fraction of the price charged by some firearms suppliers.
