    Hi all,

There's been someone who has joined the forum on what I believe is more than one occasion, filling out their profile with plausible info and posting enough to activate the PM facility but then acting suspiciously with other members.
The latest example claimed to be from Bedford RC in their profile but then told other members different stories when trying to sell them things.

We noticed that in one day, this individual had come on to the site via 20 different IP addresses, and not even from a reputable VPN provider but by what looked to be compromised devices of unsuspecting individuals.

All we can really say is that if someone is offering something that appears too good to be true, it probably is and suggest that you exercise caution. If in doubt, reach out and we'll look at some patterns behind the scenes.

All the best, and thanks for using the forum responsibly
    Neil

    Robin,
There was a factory-made KK200-Match 54 adaptor. From memory there was a KK200-KKM adaptor too.
I had a memory that I'd seen one of the adaptors, and I found a review of the KK200 stock by Chris Fordham in his Brookwood series (Target Sports June 1998). This shows the adaptor on a Match 54 action, and in the stock without an action installed. It runs from the rear Anschutz bedding bolt to just ahead of the forward KK200 bedding bolt.

I might be completely wrong, but I think KK200s and KK300s are more or less identical in their bedding footprints? OEM adapters exist I am pretty certain, as I remember seeing an advert for a M54 in KK200 stock on Guntrader a few months ago and I believe it mentioned something about an adapter. If I had the stock bedding dimensions for a KK200/300, I'd be happy to CAD a bespoke adapter to fit an Anschutz for free and it would then cost maybe £100 or less to get it machined by a gunsmith (that's what David Crispin quoted me last year iirc for a Barnard-Anschutz adapter I wanted to get made). A more cost effective solution would be to find a used Anschutz round-square adapter and then drill and tap new holes to fit the Walther stock.

Bearing in mind I consider Anschutz to be the spawn of the devil, its not some thing I've come across!!! So would not fit  one in a Walther stock!!
I missed the KK200 and went from a GX1 to a KK300, so the KK200 is not in my experience range, although I think its very similar.
Being serious for a minute, its really not an ideal thing,  but I know Walther did offer for sale KK300 stocks for Annies, but I think they were specifically inlet for them, not with an adapter (but I'm not sure), but that was 20+ years or so ago, and I'm only going on memory
But, I can tell you the KK300 stock, if they are similar is certainly not an ideal stock to put in other actions! All the action screws are on centre line  and well in front of the trigger and a flat action.
It's not the bolt cut out, its the trigger cut out, which has a big space that complicates it, even with its own action in the stock it has an  action screw through the trigger guard which can tension the stock, and is best left out!  I either have that one on  a soft torque  (4 against the others 6) with the screw in just really to fill up the space, or I tap the stock and put in a blank screw head, and leave out that action screw!!  Its a secret but, they shoot superbly like that!
My wife initially wanted a KK500 action in a KK300 stock, and it was possible, but a pig to do, and not really practical, so we quickly forgot that, she had it in a Keppeler instead, and they cursed her, as they had to make a special one off stock to get the trigger spacing,
If I could see both a KK 200 stock and 54, I could see if it could be done, I think maybe.
But I think its a lot of work, and the trigger height may not be ideal. It would need an adapter, the base of it would be easy- ish if its flat, and if there was space to have the fitting screws taped into it,  with a trigger slot, and bolt handle cut out, and then a vee to sit the round action,  and the action screws drilled. Bedding is almost BS on a small bore, as long as its not under tension and does'nt rattle they are great, the hassle is getting all the alignments and heights to make it a decent job, would not be my choice, or a job I'd do.
Have fun and Merry Xmas, and a great new year.
    Robin

If you already have stock, could anyone at help club fit hardware? There is a chap making copies of the old Anschutz 1413-1813 adjustable gubbins: https://www.warrenedwards.co.uk/shop.php?cat=3
Might be cheaper than a complete new stock. And it will be easier to use than the 1807, with it's UIT Standard compliant wedge and screw system.

Rifle & Pistol Dry Fire Target Light Box.
I've been making these during lockdown and they've proved very effective.
Homemade dry fire target box. Designed to be used with SCATT or just for home dry fire practice.
The box uses a 12v DC LED driver which produces a constant current eliminating light flicker.
Targets can be inserted into the back of the box using the small cut out at the top. A stencil is included to print & cut SCATT targets to fit perfectly in the back of the box. A standard sized NSRA 10m Air Rifle & Pistol will also fit.
The back of the box has two loop holes to allow fixing to a wall.
    Box dimensions are 19cm x 19cm x 4cm.
Area of visible target is 15.2cm x 15.2cm.
No target inserts are included, only the box with power cable and stencil are included.
    Price £50 Inc p&p.

you don’t see police sacrificing hours of detective work being broadcast on a forum before bringing matters to a conclusion
yes by all means flag up a bogey but keep important known information hidden so as not to show you/we have the upper hand
I am sure there are quite a few forum members who are in a professional position to take this further but possibly the element of surprise has been lost
